Sorry to hear you were hospitalized. I'm going through day 4 of COVID myself with minor symptoms and I drink a lot but don't vape. The virus affects everyone differently. I was on Lake Mead around the same time you were. Experienced my first Lake Mead striper boil. What a blast! Love the catch and cook on the boat.

You guys have good hearts..thank you for all the helpful advice...I will try the bleeding out the fish trick. I usually put mine on ice.. I wonder how putting them on ice after u catch them and bleeding them out would taste.. I'm allergic to fish.. I wear gloves and cant eat.. but love to catch.. and also love to hunt with pcp rifles.. it's all about the stalk for me....I teach my kids all about the outdoors also.. you guys are inspiring..keep up the good work

Awesome vid.... personally, for fish, I'd ditch the garlic salt and pepper, and just carry lemon pepper, and/or Tajin..... just my preference Glad you're on the mend, hope 2022 is a great one for you guys!

Glad Sr. is OK and it's not you guys fault the down time, mother nature handed you a bad one. I can't believe Sr. went on that 2+ mile hike on that rabbit hunt after filming this, your dad is a tough guy! Seemed better in that video though, fresh air can do wonders for your body. As a Nevadan I look forward to these videos every time you post them. I binged watched your entire RU-vid a little while ago. Really good stuff and shows even living in a big city the bountifulness of nature is just a drive away. (COVID has hit my family too, and it hit very hard, no hospitalizations because we're younger, but yeah.)

Great video. Okay being Latino how come you didn't throw it on a tortilla? Even with mayonnaise. I'm a miracle whip kind of guy. I'm seniors age and it's amazing how we like massive amounts of mayonnaise / miracle whip. Especially on my BLTs. You'll taste the fish more. I'm not Latino but grew up in Arizona. The bread kind of robs the flavor of the fish. Another note I'm on my second go around with covid.

When Sr. said spread on more mayo and Jr. was questioning that much mayo, then he put on a lot of mayo on his, I knew he was in for a treat. Cold maybe it wouldn't have been so good, but dang if that didn't look delicious! I was thinking they should've browned the bread on the cooker though, dump the butter (fish would've loved it), quick seer on both sides. Still, made me hungry to look at.

I appreciate their spunk, but I'd have to be a single meal from death before I'd eat a fish from that lake. I live in a wild salmon fishery and there are fish around here I won't touch because I know what has been dropped into the channel. The Vet got hard COVID because of the things he ingested through his life. Cigarettes and alcohol are nothing compared to burn pits and drawing vapes from a Chinese battery. I like these guys and wish them well, but I don't think they know how a healthy man ends up in the hospital.
