Nice to see that you have a great relationship with your family including your dad, hold on to that bond, don't let nothing or no one break it. I lost my dad earlier this year and even though I didn't have the best relationship with him I still wish I did and I would do anything to see him again. Nice bunch of Trout. The recipe sounds good too. My friend, his mom does salmon in a soy sauce and ginger marinade, for an hour minimum, but overnight and it has tons of flavor. Then put it on the grill. Serve it with rice pilaf. That's the first way I had salmon cooked and I love it. I've told family about her recipe and my sister and her family got hooked on it. Only difference is that they pan fry it with the skin on. Looks like a fun fishing hole. I enjoy watching your videos and especially the clean and cook videos.

They're near there the big ones use the lagoon for a rest stop , Pyramid lake has the largest rainbows in nevada. Tahoe has biggest lake trout. I think cave lake had record for a brownie levels are low so sad...😔

Just a heads up, teriyaki sauce is made from Soy Sauce, sugar, mirin(sweet rice wine) and sometimes Ginger, then reduced until thickened to preference.

great fishing and nice fish man, i hope to start finding secret holes like this as well. im assuming thats the colorado, had no idea such big trout lived there. ive seen 40lb stripers pulled right behind the dam in deep water but i had no idea the trout got this big and in such warm waters. trout are my favorite fish, i like it as much or more than salmon and they are great fun to catch all ya need is a spinner and some light tackle and youre on fish. Best trout ive ever had came out of tahoe in the winter time. jigged about 60 feet down and pulled some 4-6 pounders. honestly at the water temps up there i wouldve considered eating some raw always the best when you have a reliable spot to catch fish at. when i lived in reno i had a great little pond close by. nothing above 2lbs but great fun and i knew where the fish were!

Dakota Christensen if you’re from Vegas, you know where this is. Take a look at the cleaning station, it’s a dead give away. The only thing I’m not sure of is WHERE at the spot they were at, with that boat it’s hard to tell.

Dakota Christensen oh man! I want to know now. How far down after the hatchery is it? Can I walk to it if I park far enough down? Can I shore fish and still catch? My kids are dying for some meaty fish to catch and cook, the skinny fish are killing us lol!
