Own two Biktrix bikes. Both 1,000 watt mid-drives with 160Nm torque. Two years old and no problems. Biktrix tech support has been excellent. They respond very quickly to answer any questions that I may have. I am extremely happy with these bikes. The quality is very good and the power is amazing.

Thanks for watching Don. Their customer service started out very well with me as well. But when it became evident, there were multiple problems with this bicycle that were all unrelated, and they wanted me to fix it myself in hopes that that would finally take care of it I drew the line. In the end, they did what they should’ve done, but it was not because of their great customer service, it was because I force their hand on it. Their other option would’ve been, they could have come and get their bike and give me 100% refund. I do like the bike and that is why I did not force that issue. I’m glad that you’ve got some good ones but I will tell you the quality control has definitely been lacking. When the new one come in the derailer was completely out of whack. The same screws on the controller cover were also loose. so while I do like the bike, and I am not disappointed in it. I would certainly not say it is America’s highest end ebike that they were advertising it to be. Of course I already knew before purchasing it that was just marketing. Again thanks for watching.

Just ordered my 2025 cyber bike 750 Mid-Drive 56 pounds 133Nm of torque 29 2.35 on the front and 27.5 2.35 tire in the rear full suspension had to pre-order it I’ll have it by the end of next month, but I can live with that like I said not going to use it all the time but I wanted to have it for single trail it’s a low end bike, but good enough for me.

I got my own 700c 750w hub motor. I have a 36v 19amh and a 48v 20 amh. I can switch between the two. Use one or the other or take both. Mount then on down tube or back rack or my traiker all works. I dont recomend heavy batteries on your down tube. Its not that bad riding but if the bike falls over from standing....... it can permanently bend your tube to one dirrection.

Very curious how you were using a 36 V. And a forty eight volt. My guess would be it as a 36 V system and you were using a battery blender to cut down on the 48. But I would love to hear further explanation. And thank you very much for watching.

@@southernebiking The controller has an option to switch between 36v and 48v. I only use one battery at a time and switch them. I only take both if I have my trailer. They also have a cable thats supposed to allow you to connect 2 batteries at once but im not sure how that works. Idk if they have to be the exact same batterries or what......

I bought a keteles K800 Pro for $1,300. It's a dual hub 2,000 wat and 23 amps. It rocks and has dual suspension I was looking into the Biktrix but they are so expensive. You are paying double the price for half the performance.

Are you an eBike reviewer now with all the ebikes you're getting? I'm helping a friend w a 21 speed Mongoose MTB convert it to a 1500W direct drive & 50A 30AH battery that blew its controller he got in an Amazon kit. We are setting it up to have the motor kick in after going to get more top speed like an acoustic bike. He was getting 35 mph before the eBike died for some reason.

I would love to see that thing going. Not so sure I would like to see it from behind the handlebars. Lol I am all about light bikes, but not with that much power. Lol.

How does the torque sensor work in relation to the gear you're using? For example does it react more to the faster you pedal or to how much pressure you put on the pedals, like on a higher gear?

The torque sensor works off of pressure on the pedals. There is also a speed sensor. So you’ll stop getting assistance when you get past a particular speed in a particular PAS setting. Of course, it will react if you gear up because staying in the lower gears, you would not be able to keep up and still be applying pressure. basically comes very close to eliminating any ghost peddling. I will probably do a comparison between cadence and torque sensor.

Ah, shucks. This brand is SUPER expensive, even with almost all their stock on sale from the website right now. As someone versed in the pricing of bike packages (the suspension/features/etc for what price tier you're paying for) the entire Sales page of 20+ bikes didn't appeal to me.

I get it Dylan and thank you for watching. What sold me on it was it was a frame style I wanted. The torque sensor. And smaller than 4 inch tires. Everything else if it is a problem can be changed out. Forks drive system, etc. Even the motor and controller could be changed if necessary but I believe they should be OK. I agree with you it is pricey that is why I did not try to promote it, but I did give a link to the page if anybody wanted to look at it. To me, it is worth what I paid for it, for those features mentioned above.

@@southernebiking that's exactly what got me as well, the frame style. When I first started looking at e-Bikes about a year ago, I had analysis paralysis! There are so many brands, types and styles that it was hard to decide. Then I somehow stumbled upon Biktrix and their Ultraeagle 2.0. It has an American made frame which is done up by Wyatt Bikes in Wisconsin then sent back to Canada for powder coating, almost 200 colors to choose from! You can also customize a lot of other things, which I did. So I ended up with a custom, limited edition, high-performance beast of a bike! I ended up spending 6.5 K and after having it for about a year now, I have absolutely zero regrets. My second bike which I got a couple of months ago is a 2K Wired Freedom 60 V muscle bike which is a blast to ride as well. Decent quality for sure but nothing like the Biktrix.

Not kidding at all. I want a bicycle with some assistance on it. Be kind of like me telling you, are you kidding me, you want to buy a two wheeled machine that weighs over 100 pounds and you cannot pedal it without the motor and call it a bicycle are you joking. Sounds kind of stupid when someone talks like that doesn’t it

Its true you can find a 2000-3000w ebike around 1500 2000 usd but quality i can not say how much you get of quality and reliability i dont know how much of that for the money u get i dont know
