I have a very minimal, cleaning supply arsenal: Castille soap reconstituted into all purpose cleaner, is the main cleaner of the home. I use upcycled, former kitchen/bath towels that are cut up/hemmed as my main cloth cleaning rags., I have cut up/hemmed former flannel clothes/sheets as dusting cloths. I normally just barely dampen with water for dusting. About every few months, I use a few drops of lemon oil (think hardware store, not food aisle) to moisturize wood furniture. Vinegar/baking soda paste to scour and remove yuck. Isopropyl alcohol + water+ vinegar for glass/mirrors. I have ancient scrubbing brushes, just keep on using them, I avoid all disposables, have a cloth heavy home, No paper towels here, either. : ) I have a pile of use and toss rags that are more holes than cloth, former undies, etc for really gross stuff, Works fine. re Trash bags. I upcycle whatever bags enter the home such as plastic shrink wrap from Costco TP purchase. Carefully cut open, it works. We generate so little waste but are required to bag it, so a no cost/upcycled route is best for me. I use old school, Dishwasher powder. I am able to recycle the box, the metal "pouring spout"-so a win for me

In my country the norm is to use reusable cloth to clean, not a lot of people use paper towels all the time. Maybe once in a while but definitely not often. But we do use a lot of harsh chemicals

Same! It was such a culture shock when I was at a friend's house and I saw them using so many paper towels to clean and not have any cleaning rags. Just seems so wasteful and also inefficient for wiping messes

Idea for video 🤩.Eco friendly Easter 🐇. Decorations if it's common there Easter baskets,how we can paint Easter eggs with fruit or vegetables naturally (if you celebrate like this of course). Interesting topic for me personally.Btw when is the USA Easter celebration 🎉

Thanks for your video, been wanting to find an eco Tile+Tub cleaner, I'll try that one. For some more tips I use dried Luffa slices as abrasive units to clean with. Ideally I would've grown the Luffa myself but at the moment I'm buying from a local person in my same state on Etsy.

You could try and attach a handle to the wooden brush - maybe with scraps of thick fabric and short screws/hot glue (make it look like a horse grooming brush). Happy Easter!

Awesome stuff Emma! 😃👍🏼👊🏼 .... Have you tried the cleaning sprays from Blueland? If so, how do they compare to Grove's? .... as far as hand soap, I've been using Blueland, have you tried it, what are your thoughts if you have?

I love clean with me videos! I recently switched from laundry sheets to the Meliora powder and I'm still trying to figure out if i like it or not. I'll be sure to tune in to your next laundry review to see if there is something better out there.

Is Simple Green actually safer than most cleaning solutions? We use it as our primary cleaner, as I am bad about senses and cant stand citrus smells, and we use it at the zoo I work at, but I dont hear about it as eco-friendly,

Curious if you have any low waste pet cleaning supplies you like. I think that's one area in my life that can be lower waste and cleaner. I haven't done too much research into the various pet cleaning supplies (e.g. enzyme sprays, odor eliminators, etc.) because I just want one that works, but I'm curious what you use if you use any. I have a cat who has a leaky bladder :(

hmm I don't :( I would say definitely recycled paper towles and old towels as reusable rags. Perhaps The Kind Pet has some spray or cleaner? If not a good general cleaner should get the job done.

Nice video. I have a similar green scrub brush with handle that I got 9 years ago in never used condition from the Free Bench where I live. It should last a million years. Questions on the dishwasher tablets: 1.) do they really dissolve completely? I know the spouse is going to as. 2.) Do you really need the “forever container that costs $5? Would a jar with lid work?

Yes these tabs dissolve compeltely and clean great, too! You do NOT need the forever container!
