Thanks so much! I actually had the "tire" (rubber surround) from the wheel fall off and it was necessary to remove the wheel to get it back on. Couldn't have done it without your video!

A good kick seems to sort mine out for a few minutes. I have stripped it down. replaced both drive wheels, cleaned sensors. Cleaned IR windows ,checked bump switches. Still requires a kick every now and then. I think it must be a bad solder joint somewhere. Will check further if kicking it stops working.

Frank, it is not the main wheels but the front single wheel.

Thanks for such a great video. I am having an issue where my T8 goes in circles (right motor not functioning properly) I watched your video and removed the right wheel. I didn't see any burn marks or anything on motor so I attached a 18650 battery with leads to the motor and the motor and wheel were functioning. There was no debris stuck that would affect the rotation. I put it back together and same issue. Any ideas what could be going on? I just tried covering the drop sensors and turning the vacuum upside down and turning it on. Both motors work. The right one feels stronger than right.

Hi Mac Guy, thanks for watching my video. i think you need to replace the motor. Try this, if you spin the wheel with your hand, do you feel resistance. If there is no resistance, that means the motor is bad. In my case, my motor was working but it has no resistance. That's when you need to replace it.

@@Frank-fn6nb so I turned vacuum upside down covered the off floors sensors and ran it and the two wheels were spinning but one seemed to have slightly less power/pull to it than the other... ordered the part from china but I guess it will take a few weeks so if there is anything you can suggest I’d appreciate it!

All i did was change the main brush motor assembly and now deebot refuses to dock, i've been into it enough to do it in the dark and he still does the exact same thing, turns toward the dock, goes straight then to the left - straight - left and so on then when he nears it he's off to the right and can not find his way onto it. That was with 2 different docking stations. I ordered a new machine. Forgot to add , in the 3-4 years i've had this there's never been any problems with it.

Too late now but if you still have it, try cleaning IR sensors behind bumper. Remove bumper and blow out all dust on the machine and inside bumper.

@@user-in2uc5zk9i That one finally died but do you want to know why it wasn't finding the recharge station? While putting it back together i had bent the 2 sensors down and blinded him.

@@Per409 I see. If they become completely destroyed, I'm guessing just the sensor diodes can be sourced online and soldered.

Do both sides have a bumper sensor, because when I took of bumper, right side does not have sensor bulbs sticking but left does. Have no idea how it came off?

I took out all the screws and it is still stuck and won't come out. My deebot says wheel issue

What about the right side? It’s built differently and the wheel does not come out the same way. This was only 50% helpful which is still an F

I had same problem. One screw (towards the front) to remove the electric motor right next to the wheel and then the third screw for the wheel becomes visible.
