For anyone looking to remove the right wheel, it is the same process as the left except you have to remove the brush motor. That is the silver cylinder that is blocking the inner right wheel screw. To remove the brush motor assembly, there is one screw which you can clearly see and is easy to access, then you can easily pull the assembly out. HOWEVER, be sure to remove the “ninth” screw on the bottom/underside of the unit (where he mentions removing the 8 screws in the video). That ninth screw is more visible than the eight others and secures the brush motor from the underside.
I purchased T8+ (T8+ only sold by Bestbuy) since 2019 and worked very well for vacuuming and mopping...battery stays strong/charged/discharged very well...I purchased pro mopping module once $99 and another discounted $69 ,,,,and filled them up and purchased re-useable mopping pad aftermarket and WORK very well (really wish to have some kind like mopping pad auto clean and refill but too expensive to go with lol PLUS i have bestbuy 4 years accidental damange cover hopefully to replace before the extended warranty expired!) Hahaha...T8 works very very well ,,,no more temptation to go for expensive auto fill/clean gen..until mine's broken yes!
Thanks for such a great video. I am having an issue where my T8 goes in cicles (right motor not functioning properly) I watched your take apart video and removed the right wheel. I didn't see any burn marks so I attached a 18650 battery with leads to the motor and the motor and wheel were functioning. There was no debris stuck that would affect the rotation. I put it back together and same issue. Any ideas what could be going on? I just tried covering the drop sensors and turning the vacuum upside down and turning it on. Both motors work. The right one feels stronger than right.
Is it turns very fast to one side I mean faster than normal spead....n then reverse also sometimes very fast n start giving error...if like this that means motor ok but counter sensor faulty... that's why turn very fast....
If it just move normal Spead n then suddenly start turning in circles so that means motor became harder than other side...if u can find same motor just replace..will be ok
Hello bro, My deebot rotating in a circle anticlockwise. If I reboot the deboot, it works for 10 to 15 min, and then it will go in circles. I check wheels are okay, What will be the issue. Thanks
Sir you need to contact Ecovacs hotline no..they can provide all these details...but if u can buy wheel online...then can repair at home... through my videos...
Actually wheels will stop automatically if there's something wrong with any part....once the deebot stop so it gives a voice error message...that why deebot stop...see weather its giving wheel is stuck or related to wheel error or something else....
@@ecovacstechnicalsupport5278 This deboot says" please help me out" ! Checked the wheels, brush with no issues. The bit of LDS was spinning as well. Suspect it happened when it managed to wedge itself under a sofa edge and git stuck for a long time.
If repair you mean replace motor then ok .. otherwise no way to replace tiny motor carbon... Moto damage.... that's why if not full assembly then at least motor replace still ok...can use
Plz check underneath the top cover LDS assembly is turning or not when you pressed auto button....in this model most likely is LDS belt break that's all....need to replace belt only
