Rich of RCInformer is amazing pilot; WAY better than me!!! In fact, I don't think it'd be possible for me to "catch up" since he's got so many years flying. To be clear, I don't harbor any resentment for him, or any of our other "competitors" on RU-vid. In fact, I was a big fan of his...I only say "was", since we're so busy staying caught up we don't really spend too much time watching the other channels... He's been helping to drive positive changes in the hobby for many years. I think of him as a "forefather" of RC Reviews. That being said, I'm not full of crap either - we want to out-perform he and others in every regard, to the best of our ability, and I can only assume our piers agree ;) We're all working to promote the hobby we love, and to see this RU-vid "experiment" turn into what it's become has been a huge honor, and one of the biggest challenges of my families lives! We're excited to see what the future holds, and hope we'll keep so many ultra-loyal followers as we progress further into the RC universe!

That would work I would think. Also don't use flaps for takeoff lots of up elevator till you're moving along. U won't have any issues.

This plane would be a breeze to hand launch. It's so strong, you can hold the back half of the fuse, and point her up at the sky, then let it take off like a bottle rocket ;)

I'm real sorry, but can't recal if we even flew the plane of 3S. She was so good on 4S!!!

I just put the wheels from the eflight turbo timber on pretty much all my tail draggers it helps a lot but it’s still not perfect. And it looks a little silly on some planes.

That's a great idea. I can probably cut and weld and get the wheels farther forward. Our runway is so damn rough and unpredictable... the commander can eat props trying to taxi back on rough runways

The tail wheel is made out of wire. With a couple of pliers, just bend it as needed to get it in line with the rudder.

You don't need a paved runway. I flew mine off grass for its maiden review. Add full elevator throw and hold back pressure on the stick as you're taxiing until the tail starts flying. It'll get up. Same with landing, hold back pressure to force the tail down with thrust.

Nothing to worry about. It'll be fine. Don't use the flaps for takeoff will help lots too.

I fly mine off grass all the time. I did take the wheel pants off though to avoid any trouble with screwing around with them all the time. I also will bring an electric weed eater along with me to trim up an area on the runway if needed. If the grass is a little too long, it will constantly nose over even with the elevator full up. That happens at the park I fly at that has some of the thicker variety of grass. I just move it to an area where the grass is thinner and off she goes.

yes, it will, and YES you can do all the fictions except you might have to pick between SAFE Select on/off and Thrust Reverse.

Yes, I have the NX6 and this plane and it works fine.

NX8 - more channels, and you'll need them sooner than you realize.

I probably should have gotten the NX8 instead but for the most part, you can do a lot with the NX6. I can still have 1 AIL, 2 Flap and still use the AUX2 for throttle reverse. I do not use the safe select and always have the AS3X on. The NX6 has that seventh channel that is non proportional so it works great for Safe Select or throttle reverse. If you need 2 AIL, 2 Flap config and retractable gear along with other extra's, then the NX8 or NX10 makes more sense.
