It should be mentioned that this is the extraordinary Jean-Pierre Ponnelle staging from the 1970s. The original is also available (both this specific aria and the full filmed opera) on RU-vid. Judging from this extract the 2016 SF production looks very good, but the original one is a masterpiece and unsurpassable. It's great that it is being revived though, with young and excellent performers, and many nice new touches.
Bravo stilisticamente , ma è un tenore che ogni tanto si maschera da Baritono ! Infatti solo nei gravi ha più risonanze baritonali ,perché gli d' ha più polpa , quando sale si sente la sua vera natura che è quella Tenorile !
