She's dead, you blew her brains across the floor But then a swarm of demons break through her door. They saw the carnage you left and were still with shock They finally Flee, they knew you couldn't be stopped. For all the pain they wrought and worlds they Decimated, you showed them a similar pain, as you left their armies Devastated. They screamed your name and asked for Satan in a prayer They dawned you a new title, the Great DOOM SLAYER. You look up to see your ticket home close You stayed, it was a decision you chose. You knew this was a place was forever and your fight would never End So you decide to stay, lord over the place so nothing ever rises... Again THE END...?
Actually that cyberdemon is seperate entity from the main gameplay cyberdemon where they target the game's camera which isn't the player. Decino talked about it.
"Finally 2020 is dead! The blood pours from your eyes as you stand in defiance As the only human to andure the slaughter- you decide to remain at home and ensure no virus ever rises again" The End
Finally humanity has perished! Your form pulses as you live in defiance. As the only strain to endure their "cures" You decide to remain in mammals And ensure no human ever rises again.
3:44 that part was fucking *inspired* never heard something so beautiful, heroic and inspiring in a Doom song before. you should extend it, it is so perfect.
how ironic that i just started playing this game yesterday for the first time only because of that sweet ending that links DOOM GUY and DOOM SLAYER yeah i'm a nerd fan
@@papounator8843 how do you not enjoy a game that pure ? Answer fr i just used an emulator "pain in the ass to get it working btw" and free mouse aim and left the slaughter begin but didn't finish it because i got busy cleaning the doom eternal soundtrack And was able to enjoy it because i played the shit out of the og's
Wow, you actually did it! Thank you! :D Doom Slayer needs the perfect theme to herald his decision to stay in Hell and keep the demons in line. And you delivered.
You and Andrew should team up with Mick Gordon and bring in the one Soundtrack that will define the next Doom game as the worthy successor of Brutal Doom.
@@elguitarTom Trust me, you're at the same level or at least very close to it. After all, it was thanks to your cover that I got acquainted with Doom 64. And at first I didn't even realize that it wasn't Andrew, but another performer. I respect your work.
I will say this a really good version of Doom 64 ending. plus it fits in the style of Brutal Doom 64. plus the animated background with the music and everything is really good. keep up the good work with these awesome Doom metal covers.
I recently appropriated a CRT from my church to come home and hook up, among other things, Doom 64 to it again. This game's atmosphere was 10/10 as a teenager.
I'm gonna put this at the end of my last Brutal Doom 64 video. I'll credit you of course and link to your channel in the description. Awesome stuff mate!
Vanilla Doom 1 & 2 (1993) - a casual walk in the park, ...until u get to EP's 3 & 4. Doom 3 - a spooky stroll threw a urban compound with slight jumpscares & a portal jump to *Actual Hell* Itself before returning back. Doom (Movie) - was epic when the Rock was lead present in it, then went under once they turned him into an Antag Boss *just to end up dead* full circle. Doom (2016) & Doom Eternal - The Quote... *Futute Timeline* of how DoomGuy transformed into DoomSlayer. Doom 64 - What Hell's *True Ordeal is told* with Doomguy taking his *last stand* as Earth's Last Hope against Demonkind & Hell Itself.
I picture this song playing at the end of a proper DooM movie. The slayer standing on a pile of dead demons slowing looking around, reloading his shotgun as the fires of Hell burn behind him.
A good Doom movie wouldn't be about the "slayer" or some crap it would be more like Doom 3. Basically the 2005 movie, if it were actually about the Demons instead of mutants, you got to go to hell, we get actual space marines that look like Doom guy, all of his guns are present in the movie.
I loved Aubrey Hodges's theme for Doom, which he used for PS1 Doom and this game. Think you could tackle the full version of this song from PS1 Doom? The Doom 64 version just took a few snippets and made them a repetitive loop.
@@elguitarTom This. You'll hear the familiar part about a minute and a half in. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-atdyHvLhJXo.html And here's the song which you remixed for comparison - this song is like a shortened, more repetitive version of the song above. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BOvj9sNMZ0s.html
for everyone who doesn't know Doom 2016 is a direct continuation of Doom 64 and the slayer is Doomguy so don't call 2016 Reboot and don't call Eternal just Doom 2016 part 2
@@elguitarTom well, I do feel its different enough to warrant a cover. The endgame is triumphant and satisfying; the intermission is darker, slower, and closer in line with the rest of the soundtrack.
Good work. Thank you. By the way, I left you a link to the video with the full vocal version of the song from M. A. S. K., as you requested. Verify. Is this good for a Remix?
God damn I love this, you made a damn badass theme even more badass. The end screen is my 2nd favourite ending of all time, even though it's literally just 1 screen with text. 1st favourite ending is Phantasy Star 2, because that shit was fucked.
