I absolutely love this kinda thing more than a non-cursed and/or "successful" livestream. Aoife's dragon fight is more something I'd go back to watch later. The blind playthroughs with technical difficulties are what I wanna *see* while I have to wait 9 more hours or so lol

I haven't seen it mentioned, but aoife and Luke were too far apart in level. If they had set a password, they still would have been able to co op. You can overcome the level gap with a password. Aiofe's level would have been scaled down to Luke's level, so she would do less damage than she normally would. Hope this helps someone else in this same situation!

I'm pretty sure they just needed a password for the co-op. Normal for a level difference of 10 or so, like in Dark Souls 3. Luke was on PS5* though and some of the difficulties were their stream service like Zoom or Discord or whatever lol I keep forgetting the PS5 *technically exists*

That was a fun watch. I do love this pair of goofballs :D ...I guess I'll go and watch Aeoife kill dragons & stuff now, but glad I started with the most important and enlightening Elden Ring stream. All the George.R.R.M facts! Incredible stuff. (Legit though, just wandering around setting your own goals, fighting giants, getting destroyed by skeletons, discovering bonkers unexpected environments, & struggling with online play is the truest Elden Ring experience & makes we want to run out and buy the game right now)

That was a hilarious, chaotic stream, which is exactly what I love. The Metal Gear Solid box moment was 10/10. 😂 I was half expecting the baddies in that area to say "huh? What was that noise?"

6:50 If you're also focusing on Health/Stamina. I call it the JoAT (Jack-of-All-Trades,) cause at some point you can start Tanking hits with no trouble, while also getting a solid base for all weapons. Even if it takes longer to specialize some weapons.

Put 12 hours into this today, I’ll go about throwing them up here if they’re of interest. Favourite weapons? Tips? Tricks? Mostly spoiler free, but use the horse if you are having difficulty. L1 to slash left, R1 for right, further, hold the power attacks to can opener your foes. Just early aid. Don’t go hollow friends!

I think we need a full playthrough of this game. And every stream there should be an attempt to co-op with Aoife and subsequently something must happen to prevent the co-op from happening establishing a trend throughout the playthrough until the very end where Aoife does come through and decimates the very last Boss that Luke was looking forward to beating by himself. Then we go to NG+...

I just picked up the Bloodhound's Fang, upgraded it a bit and am loving it. The skill is awesome, cos if you use a Heavy attack after the skill you are transported towards the enemy for an awesome rising slice. Didn't see Luke using it tho.

How to feel like an old American in 4 easy steps. Step 1: Tune into a bit of Luke's Elden Ring stream despite the genre not really being my bag. Step 2: See that they're examining the "Bloodhound's Fang" weapon. Step 3: Think "Oh, COOL, the Devs are making a shoutout to PBS's '3-2-1 Contact' and its 'The Bloodhound Gang' shorts." Step 4: Realize that, no, in fact, they're making reference to the late 90s band that made "The Bad Touch", and that THEY were referencing "3-2-1 Contact". Sigh... I wish I would have commented this earlier because I know there's no chance Luke's going to see it at this point, but I can think of one thing that I believe will drastically improve his Soulsborne experience: Instead of always dodging/evading/rolling to the left side, dodge more frequently to the off weapon hand. No one tactic is perfect, but I have noticed multiple times the difference between an absolute shredding and an absolutely getting shredded comes down to him either rolling right into the swinging weapon (if his left is the demon's weapon hand) or just being out of the arc of a weapon that the demon had to swing across its own body (if his left is its off hand)
