17:47 for hanging pots like that, you can use one of the 2 shackle items (mohg's or margit's). they'll fall right off. always be shacklin'!!

Quick tip if you are having issue with the burning man: if you quicky exit the game trough the menu while you're on the platform he will spawn right where you need to throw pots at him, just quickly start running then throw them all !

15:20 When going for these kind of shiny scarabs, use Kukri's. They do good damage and the beetle won't run away if it doesn't get killed with the first hit. Also, remember to use the Beast-Repellent Torch when running in areas with dogs, wolves, rats and basilisks. They won't attack you unless you attack them first.

Armoured furnace golem: Who else knew that you can GUARD with the shield against all the flames, provided you have enough stamina and high fire protection? Just stay on the spot, guard, wait until the hellfire is finished and throw the damned pots down, easy peasy

i just avoid the furnace heads. the amount of times my pots miss or i get burned by a flame that missed me stresses me out too much. bosses that are massive in this game are horrible as well, the camera angle is way too shit in this game lol.

I swear, fighting those stinking fire golems really puts me off playing the damn game lol. I don't know what it is, whether streamers I've watched just get luckier with rng but they never do just 2 fireball attacks whenever I fight them, meaning I always end up walking face first into a wall of fire & get one shotted every damn time.

The companion jar talisman is good for killing the fire giants. It buffs throwing pots

Int builds, use Carian Sovereignty fast before it gets nerfed. holy cow does it hit hard....use it on a Iron Greatsword for best results but it works well on the Misericorde Dagger too. I think both the hit and the follow up does over 90 Stance dmg too.

Just tried it on my str build with the great Katana heavy infused and it only did about 1/2 the dmg but still good. Going to try it on the next Fire Golem see how well it works to break his stance.

You can get the mushroom ball bearing and send it to roundtable, that way you only need to farm runes.

I found it faster and easier to not target the furnace golem and just aim up a bit to freehand throw the pots into the basket because he was further away. Just commenting in case it helps anyone else because i wasted a lot of pots/mats and died more times trying to wait till he got closer.

Why are hefty cracked pots a limited item when it's so easy to use a few of them, die and not have enough left to take out the one you're trying to defeat? I need a merchant that sells hefty cracked pots. I hate these golems but I could understand it if the means of defeating them was more readily available. And this one specifically has leg armour, so you can only defeat him with hefty fire pots from above. I just got 3 successfully into the basket and then he one shot me with his side swipe. I dont need whatever i can get from defeating him. The blood boiling frustration in my stomach isn't worth it. Worst enemy From Soft has ever created

For the Furnace Golem, he doesn't need to close to the cliff edge. You can free aim the pot and throw it and it lands. No need to lock on.

For some reason I completely missed forager brood cookbook 5. Bc our friend wasn't there to give me number 6. Not only that, I missed a scadutree fragment u find at the entrance to the split cavern. Either I missed it somehow in an episode, or you didn't cover it yet. I'm so confused, I don't think I skipped an episode. Edit : So I went and found 5, come to find out I'm blind. I didn't see homie's legs dangling upside down in the grass for book 6. Then you realized you didn't grab 5. So that answered my question if you or myself missed it lol. Found this little situation funny.

for anyone struggling with the jar abominations, and using a dex/fth build, use giant's flame take thee at a distance, and the black flame tornado aow with flame art for close quarters. if you spot one still in its jar or around a corner, both can hit through walls, and if you're wearing decent armor, the aow can poise through and flinch them out of whatever cute maneuver they were trying to pull off and kill them in one full cast. i was using the cross naginata for the added utility of shield poking, fire scorpion charm, and the shard of alexander. i went with the blue dew talisman and dragon crest great shield, but you could sub out flock's canvas and godfrey icon to really fry their bacon, since the spell and aow have charged versions.

You can find more furnace visage at the corpse of the furnace golem near the shadow keep. The soldiers dropped two for me and there’s one near the hand, inside the head I believe. They can also be farmed there if you want to take the time. Basically like the rats with rune arcs. 1 here and there.

Yo, need some help. Game has been crashing every 15 minutes or more, but I never had issues after starting back up. Just beat the cathedral invasion, and it crashed immediately as the loot notifications popped up. Started the game back up, went back in to beat them a second time, but the second invader never spawns in, so now I’m stuck without the loot, runes, and no ostensible way of getting the game to think that he’s not dead. Has anyone else had this issue? Any known fixes. Really pissed off.

A) I highly recommend having the beast torch in your off-hand to make rats, dogs, and bears almost trivial. B) I know you’ve mentioned it several times in these walkthroughs, but I keep getting different odd loots than what you’re getting. At 7:29 when you pickup lost spirit ashes, I got a broken rune. Super annoying when I think I’ve missed something and go back after clearing. C) I cannot tell you HOW GOOD it is hearing your voice again in Elden Ring. It’s like a warm blanket diving into the Souls universe 🖤
