@@feaweninglorin6035 I've been reading a lot elsweyr book in skyrim and morrowind. They really have a good enganging lore and prophecy. I really hope bethesda set tes 6 or at least 7 in that region.
It is worth pointing out, that Alfiq are almost invariably talented mages. Imagine a housecat with human intelligence and the ability to summon demons.
In theory, a Dragonborn could have been born as an Alfiq. Imagine a small house cat going around Skyrim, becoming Thane of all Holds, a Listener to Dark Brotherhood and shouting their enemies apart?
Lol, I actually tried to do this, but considering quadrupeds physically can't hold weapons, you're limited to magic only. However, playing as a quadruped is entirely supported by the game engine, and it'll be as simple as making a model with a full set of animations.
I usually play a Khajiit in these games... because I would absolutely be dead within minutes if I ended up in Elsweyr, because of calling a Khajiit a cute kitty and attempting to pet the kitty. So I am also this imperial, but worse because I'm a fellow Khajiit who'd treat an Alfiq this way...
The lore is neat, but honestly I just like Khajiit because they're cute. Yes, all furstocks, not just Alfiq. Yes, I want to pet the big ones too. We're not trying to be rude by petting Alfiq, we want to pet other Khajiits too, they're freakin cats and they're all absolutely adorable and cuddle shaped!
There's a couple. Mihail did one, gg77 has one, might be others. Mostly they use the housecat model that someone made for the game. There's also mods to add Pahmar (the big, tiger-ish Khajit) into the game.
I am glad they only exist in the Elder Scrolls universe, because I would absolutely make the mistake of petting one if they were real. They're so damn cute in their little cat sized outfits!
Nirahni is fucking adorable,I don't blame anyone for trying to pet her, she's cute what can I say This message was written by the imperial with a missing pinky finger
Hope we can get one of these guys as a follower in the next Elder Scrolls. A nimble companion that tosses spells at foes with all the khajiit snark of J'zargo
It's nothing to do with Alfiq looking like a house cat, I think every Khajiit is very cute and very friend shaped and I treat them all like adorable kitty cats. But yes, the Alfiq certainly attract a disproportionate amount of this attitude and treatment, and people who'd never try to pet a Cathay will try to pet an Alfiq. I'd pet them all, but hearing that from me won't make one I did pet any less angry that I saw them as a cat.
If there's one thing ESO succeeds at, they flesh out the beast races to an *insane* degree. In Elsweyr you get to go to Masser / Jode (briefly), in Argonia you learn about how weird Hist-connected argonians are and how advanced they used to be (idk what "geometry weapons" are but knowing The Elder Scrolls it was probably some spacetime-warping nonsense)
Think twice. She won't scratch your walls or sofa - she will burn them down or throw them into your face. And instead of pissing into your shoes, she will put elemental runes there.
Omigosh, an actual Alfiq in ESO. And she can talk! I've been on the fence about playing this game for a long time, but this is a reason for me to try among many.
What a Khajiit becomes is dependent on the moons' phases at the time of birth, with most being born a variant of humanoid. It's also entirely possible Nirahni's sibling(s) are one of the humanoid varieties or a larger type of Khajiit.
Some of them look very similar to wood elves, another breed looks like saber cats but twice the fucking size of them, they come in a lot of shapes bruh
You can find a table that fits the phases of Masser and Secunda on real-world days of the year, so you can find your birth day there. According to that table, I'd be an Alfiq-raht 😀
Considering that Alfiq exist at all, and that they have vaguely South European/Arabic/Some sort of "exotic" "eastern" accent... Does that mean it's plausible that Puss in Boots exists somewhere in Tamriel?
It would be more hilarious if Barbas came out of nowhere and tears its ass apart, then says, "Was that a talking cat?" Everyone would be in shock over a talking dog.
Knowing how Skyrim is with dog meat and the rest of Tamriel. I don't blame her. Everything would either want to kill, enslave, resurrect or just straight up eat them for whatever reason.
If Elder Scrolls 6 doesn't feature one of the following: 1: Alfiq mage companion 2: Alfiq mage of the mage faction 3: Alfiq trader 4: Alfiq Thieves Guild member It will be a sad day. Think of the interesting and unique possibilities! A tiny unassuming cat as you loyal companion for killing bandit scum? Or the Arch-Mage of a College who is basically Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter but instead she is literally forever a cat, Or a Thief who nobody can catch cos its an agile cat.
I wanna play as an Alfiq in the next TES game. Have their racial ability be something like human enemies don't think to attack you unless they're khajit or something. Then they have naturally great abilities in magicka and the ability to go into small spaces. I think that would be great, it's a shame there's no playable alfiq mod for skyrim. It would be funny playing as an alfiq destruction/conjuration mage. Even funnier playing 2 handed warrior alfiq.
Lol alfiq as a dragonborn too. Imagine you're a bandit boss who both Imperials and stormcloaks fear and then suddenly you hear FUS RO DA coming from below you
Alfiq Khajiit have that problem when you're basically the size and even look like a house cat. But being practically smarter then one is already enough to make anyone not aware of the Khajiit species many breeds surprised. Or in short. People freak out over talking tiny Khajiit
Seriously! Like, it's a nasty joke to offer a Khajiit belly rubs, ear scritches, or a catnip toy skeever, but honestly those things might be really fun specifically for Alfiq...
I know right? Can't even blame the imperial for petting her. I mean, I know she isn't a house cat and I know she'll take her pound of flesh as revenge, and I still want to pet her, so that imperial couldn't have resisted considering all she knew was "gosh this is one very cute cat"!
I feel like I can understand the Dunmer a little better now. I don’t like slavery, but if the Khajiit need to be restrained in order to accept pats? Then we do what we must.
