@@ntdracing my frame is almost identical to yours, im assuming you mean the spring loaded tensioner when you say it can be tensioned at the rear? I have not kept that as it runs soooo much quieter without it and having a sliding mount means i can tension from the front. Extreme suspension travel on the rear arm can produce a slightly slack chain situation without a rear tensioner while the suspension is compressed but it returns to the preset tension as soon as the arm returns to its normal ride position. The chain vibrated up and down so much when it was engine powered that the chain could come off when it went slacker but that has not been a problem since it went electric :)

It was easy to dial it down with the controller we used. I basically added a switch to make it 1/2 power. It is fast at full power.

Super cheap. We did use a brushless motor on his next build. Big power jump.
