I wanted to thank you for so long for your videos. I felt so encouraged by you to start my electrolysis; that was a year ago, going to 1h + sessions every 2 weeks (as it was very far) and look at me now going every month, even every month and a half for only a 20-30 min session. I am in awe of you. ❤ I struggled so much for more than 10 years and I've lost so much confidence. It is hard to build it back, but feels amazing to walk on the street or speak with someone without millions of thoughts going through my head or trying to keep less eye contact or just covering my face. I appreciate you and everything you're doing ❤
That's how I feel right now. I'm currently having 2 hr sessions weekly but the hyperpigmentation from tweezing has me feeling so low, I avoid public places and it's all I think about smh 😔
I purchased an at-home electrolysis machine because I was no longer seeing results. I use polysporine with vitamine E right after and then I use Aquafore healing ointment and it's been going great 🎉
I was looking for your page for so long because I remember reading years ago about how you did electrolysis and then laser during class and then electrolysis again. I’m so glad I found this channel and I’m amazed that you’re now electrolysis yourself! So amazing and inspiring
Thank you! Yes i have been providing electrolysis as a service for a few years now ☺️ it is becoming more popular again and many people are in need of electrolysis ☺️
Great video , i use aloe gel on the area and it seems to heal quickly. 😀 also shave between sessions. I have weekly sessions. The time the next session is here the hair is in the right phase of growth. They coming out easy . Thanks for the video. Keep making them please ❤
Hi! Loved following your journey as it really inspired me to take the pludge and start electrolysis myself on areas of my face. Im trying to reduce hyperpigmentation. Do you recommend using spf directly after my electrolysis session? I have sensitive skin and am afraid of putting anything on it for the first 24 hours but also want to protect the skin. How long after a session do you recommend putting it on? My sessions will end in the evenings but we are heading into warmer weather and more sunlight in the evenings. Thanks for helping me plan ahead :)
For 24 hours, the products that should be applied are the chosen aftercare product (aloe, witch or antiseptic) and spf 30 minimum. You just need to find the right spf for you. Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation after electrolysis is temporary and will heal in time. It’s part of the healing process. Some clients wait for their sessions to be more spread apart and then incorporate retinol into their skincare routine carefully. This helps reduce it. There are also other products available to reduce pigmentation such as niacinamide. Hope this helps!
D lady i go to uses antiseptic whoch contains an antibiotic. I dont rrally want2 use that. R there any antispetic that dont contain antibiotic? Thnks ft ur helpful video x
Hi Melis, I am wondering for which method (thermolysis, electrolysis, blend, flash) I have to use insulated needles and when to use not insulated needles. Could you please explain? And which method would you recommend? Thanks in advance😊
iv begun electrolysis on my face and was going to add my chest but I have so much hair on my chest and stomach I think I may do laser and then electrolysis what is left. I am worried the laser will make me grow even more hair. My cousin has laser on her legs and the hair is gone, her friend had the same done as well as on her bum and she has grown even more hair in new places. Do you recommend electrolysis for large surface areas or start with laser?
The chest is a tough one, some people get great results with laser and others experience paradoxical hypertrichosis. It’s hard for me to advise without seeing the hair too but there are many people who do electrolysis on larger areas too. Just have to keep in mind that it is a slower longer process
I had couple hairs on my chest and did laser and now literally my whole chest has thick and thin black hairs. If you have very thick black hair all over your chest, then it might work. Otherwise, i dont recommend touching these places because they might backfire.
Hi, I was wondering if you could give some advice on how I could learn electrolysis? I have no beauty experience but I'm currently going between two electrologists, due to price, time and results. But I have noticed things that both do that may not be giving the best results. Being in a family with PCOS I'd like to offer a less expensive and better option, but have no idea where to begin. Any advice you have would be appreciated! Thanks
Hi, my route was different as it was included in my Level 3 beauty therapy course. If you want to do electrolysis on it’s own, you can research if there are courses for that. Starting by looking at collages that provide beauty treatments is a good place to start. Hope this helps!
Scabs can take up to 2 weeks to heal depending on your skins healing ability. Make sure not to pick them off. Moisturise morning and evening. Drink plenty of water. And in time it will heal on its own. Scabs are not permanent, it is temporary and is part of the healing process. I hope this helps!
@@s.b9118 Scabs can take 2 weeks to heal so I recommend 2 weeks not 1. If they still haven’t all healed after 2 weeks but there are only a few, the session can still go ahead. If there is a lot of scabbing still after 2 weeks, then I recommend 3 weeks between sessions. This is just a guide though, it obviously varies from person to person 😊
Hi, I've had so far 5 sessions on my chin and have seen no results at all so far. All i see is hairs that before were not so visible are now darker. How many more sessions do i need? I'm getting quite upset, as i see no improvement at all. Do you have any suggestions, or is it normal for it to take more sessions to see any difference? Thank you ❤
Hi! It’s still early to see a difference. Electrolysis isn’t like laser. It takes a lot longer. A rough guide to see some kind of a difference is between 3 - 6 months. This is if you’re having sessions regularly, such as every 2 weeks. You’ll start to see the hair get patchy and thinner. Your sessions will spread out more and the session time will also go down but it is a slow process 😊🩷
@@melisatesbellaser stimulated hair growth fr me and i had darker and more hair afterit. I started electrolysos 2 sessiosn so far. 2nd session ive got a few tiny spots ok my face at d sides and upper lip 😢
