My attempt to enter a black hole! This was one I previously discovered on my exploration trips and this time I investigate it!
There are not that many recordings of commander's interactions with Black Holes so I thought this would be relevant content. Please leave a like or comment if you wish!

I really wish the game would let you cross the point of no return. I remember the first time I approached a black hole by chance. I was terrified... Then nothing happened. Pulsars are pretty terrifying in VR the first time. Space is dangerous, let people make terrible decisions to satisfy their curiosity.

Yeah, the same, I was scared to even apporach it to 10000 Ls at first, especially as I had a week+ worth of exploration data on board (see my Deep Space Odyssey videos - specifically ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I2JZlxNRrhQ.html Where I discovered HIB 172B

An incredible experiment! I thought they would’ve made it too dangerous to even get close. Also, I really appreciate the journey you took to fly around literal black void

You are welcome, glad you enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed as I expected to get much closer and see (maybe like 10km or something).

Interesting. Long time ago, while on my way home from Semotus Beacon I tried it at Sagittarius. At that time I was too concerned about my exploration data, so I pulled back. LOL. Thanks for posting it. BTW, why it takes you 92 jumps to get there? Years ago I used to have Asp Explorer and from what I remember it was jumping 60 something LY with FSD booster and 50 without it. Not using neutron stars either?

I wouldn't try it at Sagittarius A*, it is much more massive and the heat damage from the simulated Hawking radiation will likely make your ship go boom. However, I don't know for sure, and I'm sure I've seen videos of players sitting on Sag A*, but it's such a massive journey and you have a lot to lose if you try it (esp. first time). Maybe if you make a journey there just to check? Idk, it will prob take a few weeks to get there realtime. My Asp explorer has a Level 4 full range engineered FSD from Felicity (see my other videos) 37+ lyr range.
