Spa Guy, I wish this interview had been inside, could not hear all Mr. Dean was saying. The many stories of Elvis Presley. I wish he had been here longer to tell the stories (what he wanted to tell), had very many. It would have been very interesting from him especially. He would have been such a mentor to up and coming entertainers too, the ropes in and out, and what to do, and not to do. He was really a special person (see more the older I get), will miss him to my last day, did not have to know him to feel that way. He was loved very much. Thanx Spa Guy and Trey for bringing out these amazing stories, without the help of these guys Elvis could not have done so many shows, they took care of him and he took care of them. He was so worn out after a show. I saw a photo of Elvis after performing and they almost had to carry him, cause he gave it all. The people around him understood and saw that, they were his backbone❤

I've been trying to catch all of the Elvis pictures. I really like playing that "Latest Flame" tune of acoustic. The G and Em sound pretty cool together as well as the chorus chord progression.

Thank You Dean’ for your Elvis stories you remind me a lot of my brother Robert ‘ you favor him and also your personality, you are doing your age well ! l know your Dad was doing the best for Elvis , you can only do so much for another human being,then it’s up to them , l understand Elvis a lot better after hearing a lot of stories about him through the years! l think in my opinion in Elvis’s situation “ he just couldn’t handle everything “ his fame just happened so fast , and also him being such a sensitive, caring man that he was , he always wanted to be fair to everyone involved ‘ polite ‘in order for him to handle his situation’. he tried to make it fun ‘as not to take this new life so seriously the only way he could cope l guess ! he was actually too good for his own good l guess you could say ‘ my momma use to tell me that because l was such a sensitive and serious person myself, so l can pretty much relate to Elvis Presley, “ he did the best he could , better then most under the circumstances, he should have left the Colonel out , also his acting career and just used his beautiful voice he would have been better off, too many things happening too fast ! he just couldn’t handle the pressures of his Stardom Thanks You again Dean , Billy n Trey , Dean you were very lucky to have met such a unique man ! ‘ he was one of a kind , never to come across our path again ! 🕺🙏🙏💙💙

What year did Dean start working on tour for Elvis? Great stuff!

Elvis doing two shows a day was like someone doing massive workouts and sports games for several hours each day.. exhausting for him physically and mentally. Sportsmen train each day but maybe on participate or play once a week or fortnight. He wore himself out with his lifestyle especially in Vegas. If only he had let go a bit and changed his life in more ways than one.. he could still have lived longer. We all know he was in denial and did not accept he was on a downward spiral. So so 😔 sad.

Perhaps what’s odd is that at the time back then, no-once thought the whole process was odd. I suppose if you questioned any of it out loud then they were quickly kicked out. Perhaps the lesson here is that all of us need independent voices around us to help us find and keep our bearings.
