The Sun Never Sets On A Legend...so very true Mr.George Klein! You were and are beyond legendary!!! So thankful you shared your life and stories with us. You were the one who kept everyone coming together here in Memphis to remember Elvis. I'm sure Elvis would have been so proud and honored to know what a true friend he really had. You never said anything bad about anyone... Rest in loving peace my friend, you are already missed.......
RIP George.... You are loved... I remember you as the man who loved the King. You were a true friend of Elvis til the very end. And now you both are reunited along with the woman who liked you... Gladys Presley. You both will be missed.
Oh my goodness. Such loss. Going to miss him and his talk show. I am sure he will see his friend again. He left us with a lot of history and memories of his friend Elvis. Such a loss. RIP and go TCB.
Rest in peace Mr Klein ! Soon there will be none left of the men and women that knew the Man! So we must mark their passing respectfully and remember those such as George who have kept his music and his legend alive through their stories and their love and admiration for Elvis Presley.
As Elvis sang in 1973... " I will remember you...." As I will remember all of you. I was fortunate enough to have seen Elvis in concert in 1976. I'll never forget that. He was amazing til the end.
George was a really good friend to Elvis. I really liked him and like the story about Elvis buying him a new car. He said Elvis said GK, what is fame and fortune if you can't share it with your friends.

R I P George. I had the pleasure of meeting George in Memphis in 2008. He shook my hand and said hello. It was only for a brief moment but I will never forget it.
Love you GK I've listened to your show on XM so long I've heard all your memories thru the years your like a dear friend You will be missed George I know Elvis and the boys of the Memphis Mafia are there to greet you no doubt there is going to be some fun for you guys in heaven ❤❤
Farewell George, my wife and I listened to your radio show every trip down route 95 to Florida on our way to Disney. You were so kind the day we met you at Graceland and even interviewed us in your xm radio booth...for a huge Elvis fan that was truly amazing and we'll never forget it! Rest in peace my friend and God bless. 😢
This is sad I have to meet James and Billy before we lose them to. I feel like I wont have time to wait this summer the only time I can vacation. R.I.H GK your up there with the rest of them
@@rvalasini9938 that didnt really say anything about James. If he passed away I wonder how come the elvis fans that follow my page didn't mention it to me. I knew about the other guys but didnt hear about James passing so if so I didn't know and that saddens me
@@rvalasini9938 I meant James Burton not one of the Memphis mafia members in general but any of those that were apart of his life. James Burton played guitar with elvis from the 70s until elvis passed in 77. James just came back home to Shreveport recently. That's where I live where James and DJ Fontana his drummer are from. Elvis found them both through his time on the la hayride here. Nobody has mentioned him passing away to me
R I P George. I had the please if meeting George in Memphis back in 2008. He shook my hand and said hello. It was only for a brief moment but I will never forget it.
GK was a great friend but who are these media types claiming that he was Elvis’ “Best Friend”? Did you know that Charlie Hodge lived under Elvis’s roof for 20 years? I think that might qualify as a best friend
Klein never ever was Elvis's best friend. Maybe Elvis's was Klein's best friend, but not the other way around. George did claim and say a lot of things that weren't true. And a lot of the MM's knew that. George felt bigger than he was. As long as Elvis lived he was never E's best friend, that's for sure.
Everybody is Elvis’ best friend now that he’s dead. I think, like most people, Elvis was particularly close to different people at different times. Red West and Lamar Fike in the 50s, Joe Esposito in the 60s, Linda Thompson in the mid-70s, and Billy Smith at the very end. That being said, Klein was definitely a good friend of Elvis’.
