Towards the mid 1970s, Elvis Presley was singing more of Country Music and even in country music, none could out do him and eventually he would've been the King of Country Music as he was with Rock n Roll. Anything Elvis wanted to sing including Country Gospel, he did good even in that genre of music, don't take my words for it, hear him sing "How Great Thou Art".

Hello from England I was 12 when ELVIS died. He was and STILL is MY HERO. I know this is a "STRONG" word to use but it is TRUE ELVIS got FED UP with the films as they were the SAME OLD STORYLINES but THEY MADE MONEY because the FANS were paying the money to see them. Such different times and different people and watching some of these videos it makes me think of the time that has passed - 55 + years. Every song is my FAVOURITE. I love them ALL He could have sung a nursery rhyme and i would have loved it. It was just the way he was - A PHENOMENON and he had BUCKET LOADS OF CHARISMA. Every person who attended the live shows from 1968-1977 WENT HOPE HAPPY. That made ELVIS HAPPY
