RIP Lisa Marie (1968-2023).

It was towards the end of his Vegas contracts and the time he fired his manager that he began to get lost. His manager blackmailed him and kept Elvis from fulfilling his destiny to be a dramatic actor and touring around the world. The manager could not go outside the US & as a result stifled Elvis from achieving his dreams. Elvis just played the US his entire life. The manager gave him a great start but his gambling sickness & immigration problems held Elvis back. So, after Parker shafted him w/ a bill for years of stuff he claimed Elvis owed him money for & a threat of exposure of his private issues, Elvis had to hire him back and THAT is when he got heavier into escaping his limitations thru drugs. It was the beginning of the end. A slow 5 year self-destruct due to loss of hope & a dream. So tragically sad.
