I’m sure there is way better out there but I do appreciate it. I put a lot of effort into my videos and being autistic makes it harder on me I get frustrated really easy and require help and don’t usually have it but I try to keep my composure for the camera.

Very impressive JAMES with the new setup. Civic looks sick with that Matte finish. In addition to the engine bay too! Excited to see the K swap, those engines make crazy hp!

The K series are great engines for sure. Mine won’t be super fast right away mine will just be a fun daily but might put some work into it later to make it faster

Biggest issue I had thus far was the VSS, I am running KPRO out of the gate, I went ahead and saved for it so I'll already have the tuning capability.. I did make the mistake and get the wrong mounts the first go around as well😂😂.. Live and learn !! Looking forward to following this build !! Good luck and watch those knuckles! 👍👍

Keep it up dude! Glad to see you making progress on this. Not only are you stepping out and doing a k swap, you're doing it in a 7th gen! I like these cars especially the coupes as I use to have one as well (not swapped tho). The k swap will make that car what it always should have been!

K24 just like ka24 with 160 hp rated using premium. But 200+ with premium on tsx k24. A2 i think not sure. But a friend was recommended 89 in his 2000 accord from sales guy. It sure won alot of street races vs other dailys but transmission broke for sure. Luckily got it replaced under warranty

U are the man bro helped me with every question before I could even ask them.with all the videos u post from painting a car to taking it a part always humble and always say if u have a better idea write it in the comments because who knows u might be wrong but I do have one question u had a d16y8 bottom and d16y7 top and locked in the vtec rockers but I have a d16a non vtec and my rocker assembly looks different than the d16y8 and the d16y7

Hasport has a DIY tucked radiator solution for under $200. Your going to be pressed for room with the intake manifold on the radiator side. Do a search on youtube for "Hasport budget tucked radiator " it should come up. Its well worth a look. Very interesting content.

I know it’s late and the video is old but how certain are you that the oem d series shift cables will work with a k20? Like runs through all the gears fine? I ordered a set from plm and they will nto cooperate

Hi I know its been a year you posted this informative video about k4 swap, is all the components and accesories will be applicable to k24a2 on my em2 acura 01 EL? from complete engine harness you use, ecu, engine mounts from r6 crv 4th gen, subframe, rad ac/ ps that I will keep, to linkage and shifter box etc.? are they all the same procedure? thanks in advice!

Let me know if i can still lock in the vtec.alot of people say it has a electronic vtec and at 4800 or 5000 I feel it kick in dont know if its just because they say that the d16a has 122 hp non vtec and the the y8 has 126 is that correct?

The d17 cables won't work with the rsx transmission they are to short

Motor height wise, is the k taller than the d? I would think so but have never compared them side by side.

Trung The Maker yes the D should be shorter if it’s a d16 they are 1.6 and the k24 is a 2.4 so it would make sense for the K24 to be taller

Yes the d17 has issues. cylinder 2 had low compression 110-120psi the other cylinders were at 170psi. It didn’t run good and the engine harness was all chewed up and not working properly.
