Super smart marketing releasing this so soon after the DJI FPV. Well engineered, under 250, & durable make this a perfect 2nd quad for DJI FPVers (or maybe a perfect first quad instead of that).
9:15 that is the key about the sub250 class, you pretty much need to be on the throttle when entering a maneuver. For sure it's a different flying style. Great review!
Nice, just wish there was better motor protection to accommodate wider stator motors. Betting top mount battery makes it more agile. Can you comment on that aspect?
Like the new version Babyhawk, but was concerned about the Nebula Pro Camera. However, it looks ok in your second flight video. Can it provide 16 x 9 field of view?
I bought these 3.5” props for use on my HGLRC Sector 150 with the prop guards and 3” props removed similar to the way you can remove the 2.5” props and prop guards from the HGLRC Sector 132 and replace them with 3” props.
Great Video, Albert! Can you please make a recommendation on the best way to attach a naked go pro, beta V2 mount to the Emax BabyHawk II HD? Any help would be most appreciated.
Those are both kinda different. Not sure what your goals are. If you're looking for longer flight times, go with the Chimera4. More sporty, more freestyle, go for the Babyhawk2.
I've had my Babyhawk II HD for about 2 weeks now. I surely *love* the digital FPV with DJI goggles (tbh, that's the main reason I bought it). As for the drone, I was a bit disappointed that the FC had no spare UARTS cuz I wanted to add a GPS, so I swapped the FC for an iFlight Beast H7 and added a BN220 GPS and Crossfire nano RX to make this a pseudo LR. It's a lot of fun to fly but take that fwiw cuz I'm very much a noob. Even with the GPS (and some minor mods), I am still under 250g with 4s/850, although I fly mostly with 4s/650. As for the FC that comes with this quad, I think it's super cheap. I thought I'd use it in a practice basher in a different frame with a Rush Tiny Tank and nano RX but it seems it couldn't supply enough power...??? Perhaps eventually I'll find something that it's good for. ;)
They put in a cheaper FC because most people won't use it like you and they don't want to charge everyone else more for the quad for features they won't be using. Majority rules...
This comes as a PNP so no receiver. However, you can bind the DJI controller to the Vista. DJI has videos on their channel on how to bind their equipment.
I´ve just received mine...its a 4" Long range set up in a freestyle frame.... but lacks real power for freestyle!! I think it's only a cruising drone👎🏻
@@AlbertKimTV Checked both. At first glance nothing wrong with them. Is there any way to tell which of the two is faulty? I only have one goggle and 1 caddx vista polar camera!
Its a 3.5?? Emax going backwards with this! Wheres the nice carbon overlays they have been doing since the OG Hawk days and just the frame in general seems a step backwards? Not to mention an F4?? Come on Emax...
