@@marinaribeiro5781 Agree..women go through a very rough tume during the menopause...the men not as bad with their andrepause...but we are build for this..we are so much stronger than they are.

You're welcome Greta. Have you had your fatigue checked by your doctor? Other health issues can appear in the menopause such as underactive thyroid, vitamin D or B12 deficiency or anaemia, and all of these can cause fatigue too! Best Wishes Eileen

I love listening to you. You have helped me through this time and I so appreciate you. I started stretching and it has helped me tremendously. I'm postmenopausal, and still have some menopause going on. The anxiety and depression I think have hit me. I stretch my entire body every morning and a few weight bearing exercises after my breakfast, and I feel the stress leave. I practice my deep breathing and just go slow. I hold each stretch for atleast 10 seconds. I have also started a specific routine in the morning. I'm working on one for the evening. It's helping me stay focused and I feel a bit better. My body is not as tense and each stretch is getting easier. Mind, body, and spirit. Gut health is important. knowledge about our bodies is important and giving ourselves the freedom to be human and admit we struggle is ok. I'm being more mindful of eating healthy, hydration, and sleeping. It has made a difference. Doing things to lower cortisol has helped me start managing anxiety. I have faith as well and it gives me purpose. Thanks for letting me share.

I'm in year 7, feeling like i no longer recognise this body, it doesn't digest well anymore, doesn't eliminate well, doesn't move well, doesn't sleep well, in the day its like a zombie with low energy, brain fog, night wide awake and indigestion. It doesn't matter whats eaten, if body decides it not good it suffers. Got courage up to see a doctor and describe symptoms as 7 years ago i was as good as laughed at, this one says anti depressants. 7 years serious suffering in silence and looks like it will continue.

Find another gp. Don't give up hope. Or accept crap docs who don't listen....I'd try to find a menopause clinic. They will listen and you will be heard. Much love ❤

Thank you for expressing the feelings and symptoms. It made me feel like Im not crazy. The reminders to self care is good for me to remember and apply. Ive been trying intermittent fasting and reducing sugar and gluten. Some days are better than others but i hope it will eventually get better.

Thank you for this. I am going through this really hard this year. I was wondering how much peri was contributing to it. I know there are other factors too because my husband & I both have burnout. I know he is not in peri, lol.

You're welcome Safyne. We do know that if your nervous system is already under pressure, either physically or mentally, then this can make all symptoms worse! Supporting your nervosu system with things like magnesium can often make a big difference Best Wishes Eileen

Perimenopause is so draining. Especially since I'm always tired anyway and have been for nearly 30 years (I'm coming up 32 next week) because of a few other medical problems going on. I also am in the 0.1% club of when you start perimenopause because I was 29 when I started 🤦‍♀️ Thanks for the tips Eileen 👍
