Geduldig stand ich hinter euren Kulissen!' which I would translate as 'I wanna know it, I really wanna know it! Patient(ly) I stood behind your backdrops/facades!' (which I personally think is a great lyric! The translators did a fantastic job with this movie :)) Someone 'really wanting to know it' is kind of a German saying you use when someone is about to/doing something risky!
As a German I can say that the German lyrics are so beautiful... very dramatic in parts, but it's the only song in this movie I definitely prefer in German.
German translation is always on point. Like I love how in "Lass jetzt los" the "let it go" part gradually goes from "I let go, let it go now" and then it builds up to "I am free, finally free". I've only recently begun to learn the language, but damn, I sure do love how beautiful it can be. 😍
For those who are interested, the French version says: "I deserve it ! As I deserve it ! Make my wish come true very quickly. Patiently, I waited so long to be in the spotlight. They all had the right to the miracle." I don't know how it works in other languages, but the "as" of "as I deserve it" is because in French "comme" (as) is used to intensify a sentence. "Comme je le mérite !" which would politely equate to "Damn I really deserve!" PS : I could have put "I waited so long to be honored" instead of "in the spotlight" since they use the term "honneur"(honor).

I have the feeling Disney dubbings have evolved so much over the years! Elsa and Moana were sometimes so badly dubbed in some countries. But now I have the feeling that lately all voices are so darn good! Belle, Jasmine and now Mirabel are all dubbed perfectly in all languages. At least official dubs all do great jobs and finally search for real fitting voices!

Please make my wish come true very quick." The translation is word for word so it's definitely not perfect. Mayne to understand better, replace quick with soon.

That is very interesting!! I love how every language brings their own interpretation of the song and each of them still convey the same message. The Turkish lyrics are a mess. They don't rhyme properly either. I'm honestly disappointed at the Turkish songs of this movie, I can't listen to most of it without cringing - they could've translated it way better, not made it weird (in terms of expressions), and it could still rhyme a lot better that way. And while I like Begüm's voice, I feel like they could have found a voice better suited for Mirabel; doesn't help that she also did Elsa. My favorite could be Dutch, the lyrics are nice, Vajen did a great job too ^^
