End of the School Year Virtual Ideas and Activities for ESL Teachers: In this video I am going to take you along my day as I share some of the end of school year virtual ideas I came up to end the school year virtually with my esl learners. All of these activities can be adaptable for online teaching ideas for esl learners. It was very strange to end the school year virtually in this end of the school year vlog. Also, in this end of the school year vlog, I will take you with me to my job. It was the first time in 2 months that I had not stepped inside of my classroom. Unless you are accustomed to teaching online, it is an unusual experience figuring and out how to end the school year virtually is very different. The end of the school year 2020 is one that I think we will all never forget. I hope my end of the school year video gives you ideas and inspires you with online teaching ideas in lockdown in this esl teacher vlog.

Hi Gabriela, Thank you so much for watching my video and for taking the time to reach out to me. I love being a teacher and I love the stories that our students have to share and I wanted to share that with the world. It is very sad the violence that plagues our society. I have a student in class who was sad because he was unable to attend the funeral of a peer who was shot and killed two weeks ago. However, it gave me the opportunity to tell the student that he can live out his peers legacy by doing his best in school and making a difference and rising above the poverty and violence.

OMG! A fourteen year old shot and killed. it's so sad, so so sad. It's very difficult to process. God rest his soul in perfect peace. Thanks for sharing your day with us.

Thank you so much. We are still processing this very sad turn of events. Since the recording of the video, it was found out that it was an accidental homicide. I can't even begin to fathom how that young man must also feel. It has to deal with the consequences of this accident for the rest of his life. May is very early. Do you start teaching early in the year? I can imagine your online classes were super fun and engaging. I love your science experiments and demonstration your your channel..
