Energy will definitely decrease after adding the dielectric. You may think that k will increase and the energy will increase but fact is potential will decrease k times and in expression there is square of potential in denominator.

for example if we take plates made up of copper, after a capacitor charged, will plates of capacitor turns to Cu+(positively charged plate) and Cu-(negatively charged plate) or capacitor plates remains same as Cu?

QUESTION Sir In fan we use capacitor and charge it by using alternating current (AC) as AC current sign changes sinusoidally So how can we maintain Positive and negative charges on different plates

After adding dielectric energy will increase because addition of dielectric inbtw decreases the voltage and we know c=q/v, hence capacitance increase and due to which energy also increases

after adding dielectric energy will decrease for the same charge on the plate as dielctric will create an electric field in opposite direction and so the electric field intensity between the parallel plates will decrease and so as energy

I am asking in the context that which view is correct in the following about time :- One view is that time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe-a dimension independent of events, in which events occur in sequence. Isaac Newton subscribed to this realist view, and hence it is sometimes referred to as Newtonian time. The opposing view is that time does not refer to any kind of "container" that events and objects "move through", nor to any entity that "flows", but that it is instead part of a fundamental intellectual structure (together with space and number) within which humans sequence and compare events. This second view, in the tradition of Gottfried Leibniz and Immanuel Kantholds that time is neither an event nor a thing, and thus is not itself measurable nor can it be travelled. I am asking you the definition of time without ⌚⌚

Much wrong comment so i had to reply. The answer is that the dielectric wants to be inside the capacitor because the charges on its surface are attracted to the plates of the capacitor. The capacitor actually does work to pull the dielectric in between the plates, reducing the stored energy. OR Introduction of dielectric reduces voltage and 'energy stored' is directly proportional to square of voltage. Mind it :- 'energy stored' is directly proportional capicatance whereas 'energy stored' is directly proportional to square of voltage.

With due respect Sir, ek choti si dikkat hai. Work done by battery qV hota hai jabki stored energy 1/2qV hoti hai. Battery ka aadha work done heat ki form me dissipate ho jata hai. Ye heat kaha par jaati hai ya kaise dissipate hoti hai iska idea muje nahi lag paa raha hai. Kya aap please isse explain kr skte hain.

Sir, ans to last question..... "energy will decrease as energy is stored in space. So dielectric will fill the space. " Also the dielectric will cancel some charges of the capacitor plate. Therefore As W=1/2 q^2/c we see "W" decrease becos "q" decrease.. I hope this correct. 🙏

bhai dielectric dalne ke bad electric field(E) decrease hogi aur sath me potential(V) bhi decrease hoga....... then capacitance increase ho jayega but charge(Q) same rahega.
