I'm sad that this is only one of two times we get to see her fight in the movies and on TV. The only other time I've seen her do fight scenes was on that episode of Martial Law, where she plays a restaurant owner who's a friend of Sammo Law. That whole episode was great. (Yes, she's alive. She just hasn't done any action projects since the 90's)
She had some more action movies like High Voltage (1998) with Sabato Jr. and Zabka. Isaac Florentine (Undisputed 2) directed it so it has some nice action scenes.
@@stefanmrkonjic9279 don't forget she is Executive Producer of Warrior, which is sort of like Kung Fu with David Carridine, but the head guy isn't a Shaolin Priest, he's a "man's man" who's really good at Kung Fu. Goes to San Francisco to rescue his sister from a gang, but it turns out that she has become the leader of the gang and is a drug dealer also. So by the end of season 2, he's basically like Kwai-Chang Caine, trying to help people out. It turns out that was one of the ideas Bruce Lee had for Kung Fu, but CBS turned him down because they didn't want an Asian-American as lead. Shannon Lee found all his notes for his show, and turned them into a show on "max". 🙂 Season 3 starts on the 29th! 🙂
Well damn. I didn't realize Shannon Lee was in any movies, let alone taking part in any action scenes. I like the reference of her tearing out the dude's hair, honoring her father; Bruce Lee's fight with Chuck Norris, when he did the same thing.
It’s funny how much she resembles her father and Brandon resembled Their mom❤️ I mean, they both look like their parents.. but Shannon definitely got much of her daddy’s genetics ☺️
Brandon did get some of his father's traits. I remember watching the movie rapid fire and there were a lot of moments where he displayed the same gestures as Bruce even when fighting
Such an underrated film. I mean sure it wasn't perfect but there were so many subtle things about it like these action scenes that are iconic imo. I think I still have a basic avi of this film on the old drive somewhere...
Besides that she is the daughter of Bruce she is so underrated. She is a natural but she picked he father's legacy over her career. Just great 👍 all the respect to her 👏 I don't know many females that can movie like that. Can you imagine if Bruce trained her when she was about 13 or so. Wow.. p.s she got also.the charisma 😮
Your father would be so proud of you and your mother today and I know he misses you very much but it won't be long you'll all be back together again , for life is but a grain of sand in time , GOD BLESS !!!
i KNow she was trying to establish an acting carreer & shes really good. But Bruce set the bar of badassness so high that no one has met it yet. He was The coolest badass on earth imo
she is quite good and very reminiscent of her father, I'm not saying she`s as good or charismatic but she is really going for it and it feels natural. Also the hair pulling part is strait outta way of the dragon, with Bruce ripping off chucks chest hair!
...might be Bruce and Brandon...YIKES!!! :) Too bad about Brandon. He had some of his father's star power. And some athleticism. He was just on the verge of becoming another action star.
wow :28.cool.that's the guy who played her brother's evil best friend in legacy of rage.he aged well.cute guy.and shannon awesome of course=).I'll have to watch this movie some time.
Bruce's mother was half German half Chinese and that made Bruce 1/4 German. Shannon had some training with Dan Innosanto and Ted Wong but not sure how extensive was her training.
