I made my own stabilizing/leveling legs for my tiny house.
Keeping this two trailer tiny house level is critical. I need strong and stable legs. Swing down legs just weren't going to cut it for this build. I wasn't confident that they would be strong enough and they have heaps of moment. Any leg that was strong enough was damn expensive and I need 8. So I made my own.
I have based these legs on scaffold jacks. This made them not only very strong... but also really cost effective. The jack slips inside some 50x50 SHS and attaches directly to the chassis rails of my trailers. This gives great support to the tiny house, and the legs are rock solid.
When transporting the legs lock up under the trailer on some pins. They are out of the way and held securely in place.
I have already leveled the trailers and it only took me about 20 minutes of fiddling to get them nice and level and the swinging walls to line up.
Next to finish the floor between the two trailers and we might start looking at a floor and some walls soon.
As winter sets in building and videos are getting harder to do but I'll try keep them coming over the coming weeks.
Don't hate... educate and go make cool stuff
