I just want to point out how Tanjiro decided to comfort Rui in his last moments instead of taking the opportunity to collect the blood sample-it really shows how kind and selfless Tanjiro is! He chooses to see the humanity in the demons, and he never disrespects them after he kills them but rather prays for them so that their soul is released from the suffering and they can finally have some peace after death. Tanjiro’s character is lovable beyond reason.

Honestly really love how Tanjiro's character is built up by his experiences with his family members, who he has been caring for and looking after for years. It makes him a much more relatable and understandable character, other than having him be a kind dude for the sake of being kind y'know.

RiceeHD I hate it when they do that, like just because it’s popular you’re gonna make it longer by doing these filler episodes. Just get straight to the story, even if it ends, it’ll be remembered as one of the greatest anime. Do it like KnY, it doesn’t have a filler but it has a backstory without making it a filler episode and it fits well with the pacing of the story. The manga is about to end, but it was beautifully done.

Hino = fire Kami = god/divine being Hono = flame And that's why shinobu differentiate fire and flame breathing technique. Because it is two different words. And also different techniques. She never heard about Hino(fire) breathing technique. She only know about hono(flame) breathing technique. Because Rengoku is the flame pillar.

@@azzxy9800 Personally I think it's the music & the situation itself that really push it to the next level. There's some fights in Mob Psycho S2 that I enjoyed just as much as this animation-wise, but the music & the fact that Tanjiro got so fired up (literally as well) to protect his sister is what really got me hyped. With Mob we already know he's capable of obliterating everyone he fights, but Tanjiro went from completely outmatched to nearly killing Rui, forcing him to chop his own damn head off to avoid dying.

I think everyone keeps forgetting that In this universe, all demons lose their humanity and kill humans. Nezuko being the way she is is, until this point, is unheard of. Lady Tamayo has unique circumstances that will be explained later in the series, and Yushiro doesn’t eat humans because he was created by Tamayo, not Muzan. But outside of those two, a demon retaining their humanity has not been seen before, which is why Tamayo believes Nezuko is the key for making demons human again. This is all to say, no, trying to explain Nezuko to Shinobu would not be a quick and easy conversation. “Yes I know that you are sworn to kill all rabid man-eating dogs that have no chance of being cured in order to protect humanity, but MY rabid man-eating dog with no chance of being cured is different I promise!” 🥺🥺

Btw Hinokami Kagura means dance of the fire god which is the breathing/fighting style Tanjiro's father passed down to him. You see him practicing it during the flashback (the scene where Tanjiro had that tree branch and was dancing around with it).

Fun fact: if you rewatch the opening, the hashiras with the exception of Giyuu was always in darkness. Now after this episode, most of the hashiras are in color and standing behind him. I thought that was very cool.

The Ranking of the twelve Moon is Upper 1,2,3,4,5,6 and Lower 1,2,3,4,5,6. With Upper 1 being the strongest of the twelve second only to Muzan while Lower 6 is the weakest of the 12 or the 12th strongest. So the demon in this episode was the past weakest memeber of the 12 not the 6th strongest. Hoped this helped, like this so they can see it.
