EP 2: Log Capstan Build to Drag Heavy Objects (logs) 

In this video, I build a Capstan. A similar structure was used on ships to hoist up heavy ship anchors. I believe my approach of using a tree stump as a base is an original concept. It works incredibly well being so well rooted into the ground and with the additional leverage of the pole, we are able to hoist very heavy logs up the hill with very little effort. These logs will be used for the Log Cabin I'm building.
