FINALLY, A BUILD UPDATE!!

I am sorry it took me so long team. I promise I have been busy.
It's taken so long to do a proper build update mainly because the stuff I have been working on is not very sexy until I can show you some results.
In this video we check out the plumbing, electrical and how I join the services for the two trailers. I also share some of my crazy ideas, like automating my shower 😂. It might not be as exciting as the exterior to look at but this is laying the ground work for some very cool things to come.
Next steps are to finish a couple things off with the air conditioning and I can do you another video. I better get back to it.

We don't get the chance to get sick of you at any rate. Welcome back! This is the MOST custom tiny home ever. Absolutely only for you. I'd wager we all appreciate its solid, gorgeous, functional perfection. Please do finish it--however long it takes you🙌. Best work ever.

🙌 Thank you Erika, that is so kind. It is certainly going to be one of a kind. I can't wait to have the finished house that I can share. But also, I am loving the process. It's been going for a while, but determined to finish. I can actually start to visualize the end.

Outstanding well thought out and built as usual. Great to see the next instalment. Agree with the idea of sending back the unheated water to the collection tank. Living with collected rainwater as your source sure makes you aware of unnecessary waste. Looking forward to the next video.

Thank you Leo. From here we are going to start to see some cool stuff come to life. I am very excited to share. Yeah I had never thought of saving the water. I mean before it comes out of the showerhead it's still drinkable water, why not keep it. I grew up on rainwater so I know how precious it is, especially when it's dry. This summer has shown me that.

That thought has crossed my mind. Or even commercializing it myself. But I have enough to focus on for now. Heck I still haven't even made working prototype. For now, I am focusing on the house. but once I am done, who knows ;)

Agree. I am very excited about it. But still need to pull it off. In theory it's not too bad but once you get into the logic it's quite the challenge. I have to sense and blend water simultaneously. It's amazing how much happens when you put your hand under the tap, and feel the water as you adjust it. It's certainly not rocket science but a lot to consider. Pretty excited to have a working prototype.

🙌🏻 You and me both. I can't wait to actually see the shower working. In the next vid you'll actually see one of the ideas functioning with the air conditioning :)

@@TwoHandsandaTinyHouse I've seen a few van builds in the States use a sump with recirculating pumps and multiple filters in their showers. They obviously help reduce the water consumption, but also save on energy to heat it, great from an efficiency perspective, but hard to wrap your head around from a hygiene perspective.

Wow that is very serious. Not sure how I would feel showering in grey water. Buth then again with sufficient cleansing it's of course possible to bring it back to pure H2O. But that would require filtration, reverse osmosis and who knows what else. Be good to see how they do it.

Haha thank you, you are too damn kind. I just love thinking about this stuff and asking "what if". The design process of trying to create something new is my favourite. So much so that, I need stop myself from getting carried away else I'll never finish. Even now I question some of my choices haha. But hey, I do it for the love of it. Very excited to see some of these ideas come to life. You will get to see one already in the next vid about the air con.

@@TwoHandsandaTinyHouse You mate, are too damned modest. 😉 I also have a no-stop brain & LOVE coming up with novel ideas or improvements to existing products so I'm familiar with the process, BUT none of them are anywhere close to the complexities & refinement of yours. I tell yah, I'd have a total brain explosion attempting what you do. Thankfully you enjoy what you do so are living the good life, thanks for keeping us entertained & educated. 👍🇦🇺

Haha I am addicted to the process. I just love working through the process. I am so grateful you enjoy watching the process. You should start making some of those ideas if you don't already. That's how it starts. From there it just expands more mind to crazier ideas haha.
