Very well done. Another problem that I see is that the WNBA is a summer sport. How many have heard on someone who has taken their family on vacation to see a WNBA game/games. If you live in the Midwest, we all have either gone to or have known someone who has gone to a Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, Twins, Royals or a Cardinals baseball game. It will be interesting to see how many games will be broadcast on TV and where you will need to tune into and what type of streaming package you will need to buy to be able to watch the games. Good luck to the WNBA and all the players.

(Commenting before watching) WNBA is still the NBA and so CC is NBA revenue. The fact is the WNBA can't afford to pay her what shes worth because payroll. I think the Fever or NBA should give her stocks and a percentage of the ticket and view revenue to fairly compensate her. What the league can also do is if she does end up being mj of wnba and put it on the maps, they can go the MLS route and give CC a team in 20 years

Im from Hartford CT. Im a Husky. Watched the mens win 6x. Never watched the womans once and they won 11x during my time watching lol. We have Paige and i never cared to watch until CC vs Paige

They have the viewers Whoopi??? 😆 hopefully new talent like Caitlin Clarke will get more people watching the WNBA. If you get more ratings theres more money coming in.

how about the WNBA plays their games during daytime television like how "the view" or "keeping up with the kardasians" so more women can support and view the games?

Sure, race is a part of it, not the primary part, but a significant part. The primary part is her crazy good skills. Another part is her likeability; i don't know how she is in private, but her public persona is likeable. Her race is a part, just like Tiger's was for golf, Jeremy Lin's was for the NBA, and Doug William's and Warren Moon's was for quarterbacks. Why do we have to shy away from that? If she was black with that crazy skill set and likeability, I do believe she'd get a lot of attention, too. Maybe not as much, but probably enough to get some deals and a lesser degree of outrage for a $76K contract.
