Kingi Snelgar (Ngāpuhi, Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Whakaue, Te Whakatōhea) isn’t your everyday, run-of-the-mill lawyer. The product of the Māori renaissance of the 70’s and 80’s, he is applying Māori life experience to affect real change in the New Zealand legal space - and he’s not alone.
Currently armed with a Masters of Laws from the world-renowned Harvard Law School, this former King's College alumni has made it his professional mission to assist those legally who need it the most - sadly, a rapidly growing demographic who are generally culturally-disconnected, socially-shunned by the Pākehā ‘system’ and are no surprises... brown. This is Kingi’s story.
This is The Taumata Kōrero.
