Hope ya'll enjoy the recipes! I didn't anticipate such a miserable day in london otherwise I would've uploaded a more winter recipe lol! But alas! Make sure you are subscribed as i'm coming back with some one pots for back to school season! Also let me know in the comments anything in particular you'd like to see as I love making videos and content that is actually helpful :D. Love always Rach xxxxx
Rachel Ama could you please do a video on back to school lunches for kids?! I find myself packing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches EVERYDAY for my littles (two years in a row).
My 8 year old son just broke into my bedroom to wake me up at 8am on BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY to tell me we need to make this. I'm so annoyed and so happy at the same time 😴
@@michelea2326 you won't water it down, it's only 2-3 cubes in order to get it in a smooth consistency, even when you place in the fridge; it will keep that smoothness.. that's how we do it ( Arabic style),
Also have to wait for the dancing, singing bit. Wouldn't be a Rachel Ama video without it. Can't wait to see yourcarnival footage and your vegan jerk chickin'
oooooh girl that looks so yummy!!! i totally agree about being tired of vegan burgers always being the restaurant option. like i love them, but there are other ways to prepare vegan food that tastes amazing!
Oooh lala those sauces!! Love your sauce ideas! We blow through all different types of vegan sauces every week in our vegan house of 6!! Sorry about the miserable day in London! It rains nearly everyday here in Florida, USA, but it's sunny for most of the day and clears up quickly!
@Rachel AMA thanks for these videos. I’m slowly making my way over to less meat (I can’t say meatless) and worry I will not have the creativity to make yummy meals for the family. I will try this one tomorrow - sure looks good when you do it!
I’ve gone through your whole channel in a day! Representing London, love it!! Gona see how I get on as a vegan for 3 months. These recipes are what I needed because I was shook about my food being tasteless lol
Hi Rachel, your buddha bowl put a smile on my face, I'm one that eats with my eyes before it goes into my mouth so I can definitely appreciate all the vibrant colors, as well as the taste and textures. I agree with you grilled veggies should have some crunch and color
I needed this video, although it could have shown up earlier. I was clueless about "what to cook?" today, but after checking the fridge and pantry I found some broccoli and pasta, so tonight is Pasta & Broccoli with loads of garlic and some yummy (vegan) cheese.....I made red pepper hummus the other day and have been eating it with pita chips...it's going to be rather hot this week, so the quinoa tabbouleh might be a Thing along with the sweet potatoes and some sort of beans/legumes....I love your channel so much!
Arrh Rachel, you had me at hummus. Buddha bowls are the best vegan lunch dishes. The only problem is colleagues asking what's in it coz I can never remember. You have put a few other things in this vlog which I will be cooking. Thank you. Vlog like and saved in my Fav Recipe folder as most of yours are. (I was going to ask "Why no crazy dancin'?" but you sort of got it in at the end. I know you can do better though. :)
I made your Buddha Bowl for X Mas and my Kids (15,7) LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Here in our area Germany and in the middle of nowhere 😄 we have to make our good stuff ourselves. You are a great radiant personality and you inspire my cooking, and I am inspiring the people here on the Country side to experiment in vegan cooking 👍🏽😄 Thank you so very much for sharing your energy and great cooking 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is great. Very nicely done. It wasn't you, it was me. I'm glad I revisited this video. Thank you so much. I will be doing this tonight but with butternut squash instead of sweet potato.
Aaaaah, my Sunday night fix, watching your video's of yummy food. You make me hungry even though I'm stuffed full of sweet potato casserole with crunchy pecan oat crumble topping on a bed of kale and tomato. This plant based food is so yummy and filling ♡
‘Foodgasmic’ - to quote a Happy Pear. This looks sooo scrumptious. Inspirational. Tomorrow’s lunch methinks, but I might replace the quinoa with cauliflower rice as I have a nice little chou fleur in my fridge that I need to use while it’s still fresh and yummy.❤️😀
I have a video on tips! But in general, enjoy the process, get creative, don't be hard on yourself, find inspiration through vegan chefs, activists, restaurants and people! You're saving animals, helping the environment! Be proud of it! And make sure you get a good variety of nutrient-rich plant-based foods in your diet and listen to your body and seek out professional advice if you feel you're lacking in certain nutrients like b12 or iron💛💛
I wondered similarly -- but about Rachel's use of oils in general: Seems she chooses to use *very little* oil in most recipes. Her dishes are so fantastic anyway, but I always use more oil when I make them. I'm mostly vegan, and feel I actually need the fat of oil for a good "mouth feel" to my food, and to help it be more filling for my family. I think Rachel takes care of some fat content by eating lots of avocados.
Looking at her you think, "oh yeeeeaaah, that's why I wanted to go Vegan" but then you realize you couldn't keep up with telling everyone you're vegan every 5 minutes. Lol! But dang this lil woman is inspiring.
ah no!! Sorry girl! Could be so many different things from gluten or different grain allergies, to adjusting to a change in fibre intake, to monthly cycles. I know I can't personally each too much quinoa, sometimes i get the maddest bloat, but I feel like im adjusting to it more and more. I'd check to see if you have any alergies xxx
Not vegan, but looks so good. I’m scared I’ll fail at being vegan because I’m not a fan of hummus, sweet potatoes or avocado. These seem to be stables in a lot of meals
I cannot believe I’ve not seen you before. Firstly, oh my goodness, you are *insanely* beautiful. WOW! 😘 Secondly, at 47 yrs old, I’ve *finally* taken the huge step into the vegan lifestyle. I’ve always loved to cook from scratch and this video is incredibly helpful. I want to concentrate on whole foods, not “fake” factory “meats/chicken” it’s just my personal preference so this was great for a newbie. Thank You so much for taking the time to educate and share your recipes. I hope you have a beautiful and blessed day. Xxx
