ok so let's be honest we are not campers!!! we're more of the air bnb hotel kinda people but when in Switzerland the dream is to drive through the alps & with accommodation prices so high we thought why not book a van!!
Surely its easy right!! 2 young kids a campervan & 2 parents with no idea what they are doing!! no problem.
Our best experience as a family to date!!! we absolutely loved it!!!

Hi, I am planning travel from Geneva to Interlaken and to Lucerne through the campervan with family and going to spend one of two days in each of those locations. I am concerned about driving through the mountains; I believe there will be sharp turns and narrow and steep roads in the mountain areas. Is the roads from Geneva to Lucerne has those kind of roads or is it plain roads and is it safe to drive. Thanks in advance.

The roads are extremely safe. It was our first time driving a campervan and we found it completely fine driving in Switzerland. Literally everyone visiting is in the same situation so just take it easy and you’ll be fine.

excellent.. t his gives me a lot of assurance that the camper van should be a great way to do europe.. I just booked the Atlast 5 auto from Indie campers same as yours .. One question i have is "are you allowed to part the van in a normal car parking spot ? " thanks and lots of love Harry Singh Florida USA

It’s pretty long so would not fit a standard car park, usually there are bigger spaces though for campers as everyone’s doing. The same trips, the Swiss are well prepared so don’t worry
