10 days before our truck breaks down we are blissfully ignorant as we explore Jackson WY & Big Sky, MT. The flooding of Yellowstone forces a change of plans and we also fix a leak in our Airstream. www.johnjessjourney.com
John - hope things are looking up for you guys. When you stayed at Wakeside Lake RV park in Rexburg, ID, that was very close to where my wife is from. Her whole family lives in Rexburg and her brother lives less that 5 miles from there! Truly a small world. Keep us posted on the transmission status and how you guys are getting along with that. Cheers brother! Brian
John any way of knowing if first dealership damaged something to cause tranny to fail, maybe forgot to refill with fluid, wrong fluid or too much fluid? Seems so strange that 50 miles after that repair the entire transmission needs replacing

I really hate that happened to you. I once bought a truck and dealership lowered the mileage. I learned all the agencies out there to protect you are toothless. I contacted the Ralph Nader Institute in Washington DC, they said they couldn’t do anything but call my attorney general, he said sorry i cant do anything, they suggested to call the odometer fraud task force in Tallahassee, they said sorry nothing we can do. I got an attorney and after a month he said to pursue it myself because he wasn’t going to make any money. I would at least call the dealership and explain the matter and hope to God they have a heart and at least refund a %
