Henry had 1167 rush yards this year and played every game, Mostert had 1,012 yards, Mostert had more tds but Henry still had 12 tds on a much worse offense. It seemed like Mostert had a better year, but from a rushing perspective, Henry was better. Mostert and Wilson have no more guaranteed money left, we can move off of them this off-season if we really wanted to. As far as free agent corners, I like Keisein Nixon and Sean Murphy- Bunting as cheaper options. WOW THE AMOUNT OF ADS IS CRAZY

Biggest Defensive problem every single year. Finding a way to keep their inside linebackers from being torched in pass coverage. Duke Really destroyed by Josh Allen every year. David Long PFF gave him a brutal 29.8 grade. As perspective, the player with the next worst coverage grade had a grade of 37. Jerome Baker 88.2 percent, per PFF The bad news: He allowed 45 of 51 passes thrown against him to be caught, which was the second highest completion percentage against any NFL inside linebacker and better than only former player Elandon Roberts. Roberts permitted 91.1 percent of his targets to be caught. Stats. Barry Jackson

Here are some quotes from the introductory presser of the Ravens' new DC Zach Orr as reported by The Baltimore Sun's Mike Preston. Hopefully, Anthony Weaver brings this mentality and style of play to Miami's defense: “I want our defense to play together, first and foremost - 11 people playing as one, let’s start there,” he said. “The next thing is, I want it to be violent - very violent, physical. That’s just the standard here. Everything we’re going to do is going to be with physicality and violence. Then, just execution - executing at a high level, executing in certain situations, executing all the time. “Then the last thing I would say, ‘organized chaos.’ Present a lot of problems to the offense. Never give the answer to the offense before the snap, but that’s what I would say. Identify first things first, hit everything that moves.”

That Seattle game in 2016 was something to behold. Some serious physicality in that game on both sides. That was a tough Dolphins team.. comparatively. Is Marino really going to say Tua can't lead them to a Superbowl? Mike McDaniel constantly praises Liam Eichenberg. Hes not good. Everybody gets a medal in the Dolphins clubhouse. There is no comparison in the talent between San Fran and Miami. I just don't get the comparison. Brock Purdy ran for a few first downs vs Detroit to help win that game. Tua sits in the pocket now. Very rare he runs because they are scared he'll get hurt

The reason King Henry would come to Miami, is because he won’t be facing 8-9 in the box. And if they do that, Hill and waddle will have a field day. I want Henry last offseason, over cook, over Colts RB. With Henry in our back field, this offense would be virtually unstoppable.

How many comments are gonna be about Alain thinking they have to cut Tua to make it to the super bowl? My 2 cents, they tanked for the kid, he's got 1 more year to prove it, you have to go all in and give it your best shot. If we did all that to get the kid, and all the trades and signings after, they owe it to everyone to go out with a bang....because they will have to gut this roster after anyways. It's a rebuild anyway. You might as well have a trophy to show for it right?

@@kellypatterson6425 Doesn't understand how to build a team especially through the draft, has zero ability to assess O line talent (does a 2nd and 3rd pick for Eichenberg sound like a good payback)?, missed on EVERY oline draft pick not named Robert Hunt (and PLEASE don't consider Austin Jackson a successful pick especially the 17th overall pick when he benefited from the system and not because he can hold a block). I can go on and on and on. As far as Hill is concerned Grier veered from the rebuild plan with what was to be Waddle as our 1 and instead spent 30 mil a year on Hill. Would you rather have Wilkinson and Hunt for the price of 1 Hill and still been able to get a high level #2? And oh yeah, ask yourself who won the Tunsil trade now? Would you take Tunsil and Stroud AND a playoff win or Armstead and Tua? Mic drop.....
@kellypatterson6425
@kellypatterson6425 5 месяцев назад
@@techmeout1362 drop your mic if you want to. If the tunsil trade is the fair way to assess Grier (does he get sole responsibility/credit?) it’s more complicated than you make it seem. Since then he’s lost picks due to win-now trades and deals, and he has assuredly missed on some of the picks he did have. The dolphins roster last year was thick with enviable talent, though ultimately undone by injuries. I agree the oline was a weak point and we need improvement. It would be great if we had 8 studs we drafted and developed playing on cheap rookie contracts. That would be cool. The fact that we don’t doesn’t necessarily seem like it’s solely Grier’s fault. Belichick, whose later drafts seemed demented, had a twenty year run of being able to create dominant olines out of late round nobody’s. Was it genius? Was it coaching? Was it scheme? He never gave away picks in big name trades. He always acquired more picks. You wanna talk SB’s, that’s the first place to look. You would say every GM in the league should have been fired for passing on Tom Brady 5-6 times. It’s a much easier job looking backwards.
@Ballaholic17
@Ballaholic17 5 месяцев назад
@kellypatterson6425 Chubb was the big mistake. You never pay twice for a player, and we gave up a 1st, then paid Chubb 20 million a year. I can understand Tyreek, but you can't make 2 moves that cost you massive draft capital and cap space. That's part of the reason we're in this position to begin with. We can't be buying our top players all the time, it's not a winning formula.

The Derrick Henry thing makes no sense. You have to stop wasting time on it. The Fins were #6 in team rushing , tied for 1st in rushing tds, and #1 in ypc last season. They are loaded with cap issues and question marks at almost every position except rb and maybe 1 or 2 others. Achane is one of the few promising, young, qnd inexpensive game changers on the roster. Miami has been a shit show for decades and this is the most relevant theyve been in years. They're a Superbowl worthy team if they can evolve over the year and stay healthy. The bigger issues are the inability for Grier to keep this team young, Tindall Cam smith and Noah Igbo. were all supposed to replace Baker, and Howard but they're non factors . Yet were gonna put it on the most productive HC/QB weve had in years.
