I just love this Brother Eric and I love you too! Jehovah has truly blessed me to find you both. I don’t know what I’d do without you. I woke up about the Governing Body a while back but I felt alone and I have continued to pray for strength, and then here you came. Also, please read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. That gave unmistakable proof the the Governing Body is only charading as a group of righteous men. If they are brothers, they have much to learn about how to treat their fellow worshipers. They have caused much harm to good-hearted people.

The "Truth" is not merely 'something', rather it is 'someone'. Jesus Christ, the eternal 'LOGOS' said: "I am the Truth, the Way and the Life" - John 14.

Not "where," but as Peter said, "to whom". We turn to the Christ, and he will draw us to him and to others. Once I departed from the Org, I sought out others like myself, and it wasn't long before I found many. If you'd like to associate with like-minded disciples of Christ, attend one of our online meetings. beroeans.net/events/ As for making disciples, that just comes naturally once you are filled with the spirit.

wow! That was quite an eye opener. Thank you Eric & Eric. Appreciate the importance of examining our perspective re truth (analogy about sunset/sunrise) - and explanation on religion vs relationship. I have felt for the longest time that we are kept so busy, that we dont get time to mentally work through things/teachings that intuitively feel "off".

I woke up four years ago. But, looking back, one of my JW relatives had told me exactly what you've just now said. That was over 20 years ago. She said, "They keep you so busy reading Watchtowers that you don't have time to read anything else." And now I realize that she had probably woken up. She moved to a different State soon after that, ...probably so she could "fade".

On a negative note, and this is to Eric W, i was going to contribute until i saw that some of the contribution is put towards your travels to do interviews. Interviews that could be done on zoom as you have done before…i know its nitpicking but Im not paying for someone to globetrot. 1 Cor 16.23🙏

Just to clarify, the trip was the result of an invitation by one couple who provided the funds for that purpose specifically. I'm sorry you feel that we were taking advantage of donated funds to, as you term it, "globe trot". That is simply not the case.

Hebrews 10:24,25 tells us it was to “encourage one another” in solidarity as ‘Witnesses” of Jesus (Acts 1:8) We witness to Jesus by our daily conduct as “Christians” (Acts 11:26) Christians would be seen as a source of ‘light’ in the darkness of Satan’s world (Matthew 5:14-16) As a result of a Christian’s ‘fine works’ - love, kindness, patience, humility etc, onlookers would “give glory to your father who is in the heavens”.
