Eric should have changed guitars after the forth song or tuned the guitar better. Shame really excellent sound. Doyle Bramhall's es335 actually stayed in tune. Which surprised me it's usually thr G string or the B string that goes flat after about 15 mins of playing them. Must have a very good guitar tech back stage. If I was Eric's tech the moment I heard him go out of tune on the outro of making love to you. I would of flashed a signal light on the wings to he light engineer to change guitars over with the same E standard tuning lights off. Guitar change lights on, play on Eric. Shame really. I HATE HEARING OUT OF TUNE GUITARS.

Great playing, and Clapton is my all time favourite player, but he has had pretty much the same uninspired setlist for almost 10 years! He has so much more A++ material that he COULD choose to play, yet for some reason doesn't! I'm also sick to the back teeth of hearing the acoustic version of 'Layla', and to be honest it sounds as if he is as well! Chris Stainton seems to play the exact same solo in every song too! But to say again, the playing is amazing and 'Pretending' and 'Running On Faith' are fantastic highlights! :-)

Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack, Nathan East, Steve Gadd and Chris Stainton with Sharon White and Katie Kissoon on backing vocals-will be his band in SEPT 2019. (Crossroads Festival and 3 warmup shows prior)

Any amp snobs out there who can help me identify Eric's Fender or Doyle's amp?

As for the amp, it looks like a 59' Bassman reissue.

@@JRAFF145 Hi. These things do interest me, but I hadn't been aware of the '57 Bandmaster reissue, until now. There gets to be a point in time when one is satisfied with the equipment one has, and feels no need to keep shopping, or even window shopping. I used to be more of an equipment junkie. I can tell you, though, that the Eric Clapton Stratocaster is an absolutely fantastic guitar to play.

@@russellparratt9859 He uses original older amps not reissues. I get to see him tomorrow night in Phoenix, AZ. I've seen him in 1985, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2001, 2013 - so this wil be #9.

@@JRAFF145 Impressive! I've seen him once, in Melbourne, probably in 1985. I've admired him greatly over the years, but really prefer the work he did with Cream. I also liked the stuff he was doing in the 70's, early 80's, and the Bluesbreakers, but I'm just not into blues music, which appears to be his staple offering these days. ( I saw Joe Cocker 7 times!)

A boring concert. Did you watch the concert there in 2009? That was the extravaganza. Either the participants are weak, or Eric is tired. A boring concert. But I still love Eric Clepton. \ Скучный концерт. Вы смотрели там же концерт в 2009 году? Это была феерия. Либо участники слабы, либо Эрик устал. Скучный концерт. Но я все же люблю Эрика Клептона.
