I`m Argentinian. They used to play this song at the radio when I was a teenager. I thought it was a Boney M song back in those days

There are a lot of people who still think that this is a Boney M song.They had a similar sound as well as the same producer.In 1977 Eruption were an opening act for Boney M and Precious Wilson,the lead singer, was a guest star on Boney Ms Oceans of Fantasy album in 1979.

It's the 1970s, it's disco, there are no big considerations beyond making you feel. It was simultaneously a cynical and innocent time in that everything perhaps frowned upon now was maybe normal and accessible and presented in simple terms.
