Этот весь талант в исполнителях, потенциал раскрылся с 2014, когда из Украины уехали Басковы, Кабзоны и прочая ерунда, наконец-то наши артисты начали выходить на сцену и творить по душе. Hardkiss вообще на youtube начинали выкладывать видео, не нуждаясь в спонсорстве каком-то + по радио их можно было услышать.
Джамала набрала однакову кількість балів, що і хардкіс. Я впевнений, що навіть, якби на Євробачення виступила Хардкіс, то Україна всерівно перемогла б. ) Занадто сильні виконавці і пісні тоді були.
The *_The HardKiss_* is a great band. It was a *another* WONDERFUL masterpiece from the beautiful country Ukraine and awesome Ukrainian people. Love from Portugal, _(*I'm Portuguese)._ I love Ukraine and admire much the brave and talented Ukrainian people. I was in Ukraine and I loved the experience. I'll surely return.

I'm so proud that The Hartdkiss is Ukrainian band. They used to sing mainly in English, but lately they released quiet a few songs in Ukrainian and I cannot be happier 😍 p.s. yeah, it's a band. And yeah, they came in second as far as I can remember. p.p.s. as for the costume I actually prefer the one they used in semi final, if can check out that performance as well if you're interested.

The HardKiss is one of the best bands in Ukraine. They have a lot of awards and everyone adores them, especially after they started to sing in Ukrainian. They were the first according to the juries but second according to the televoters and that's why Jamala won. Frankly, I didn't expect Jamala to win because The HardKiss are EXTREMELY popular in Ukraine and nearby countries. They even have European tours. And that's sad that they don't want to compete in our selection anymore because they've outgrown it. And if I'm not mistaking, the lead singer Julia was pregnant during this performance. She and the guitar player of the band are now happy parents :) If you wanna hear more good Ukrainian music, please react to Kadnay - Beat of the Universe (they were 3rd in our selection this year).

It's a crime they they weren't selected. And the Hardkiss is one of the rare occasions where I checked out their other works and downloaded all of their albums. They're awesome and should definitely try again to compete.

Unfortunately, the most popular Ukrainian groups in the world are little popular or completely unknown in Ukraine. For example, Stoned Jesus, JINJER, KAZAKY, Dakhabrakha, Brunettes Shoot Blondes, Panivalkova, SPACE OF VARIATIONS, The Erised, Sinoptik.

I remember watching this national selection on TV. The song and the whole scene was terrifying but with a catharsis in the end. The situation in the country was also heavy, not that bad as in 2014 but still not cheery. That is why people may have chosen other song. Still, I preferred them.

Jamala was my winner of 2016 but I did prefer this to Jamala, Ukraine were going to win no matter what in 2016 they had so much talent in their national final.
Wow !! This song should have competed the following year. This year, in fact, was the year of Jamala. Her song is remarkable and deserved all the victories she has achieved. It was unfair for this song to compete in the year that Jamala competed. In another year, this song surely had gone to Eurovision, and would be well classified, with all certainty. Great Song! Exactly! That was our strongest year, not only Jamala, there were two more beautiful songs to choose from. But ad soon as I heard Jamala I knew they would win not only in Ukraine but the Eurovision as well. I actually bet for this with my friends.

It is incredibly. But find out Ukraine from the other side, look at the performance of the finalist of the national selection for Eurovision 2018 - Kadnay. Pleeease.
I requested you to watch Ukrainian national finals before, like you did with "Melodifestivalen". I don't know, maybe my requests didn't get much support. But obviously, our "Vidbirs" are better than the ESC semi-finals at least. This year we could send any of the six artists presented and each of them would be decent. Well, at least sometimes you check the separate songs.

You should really react to France 1969, one of my absolute favorite Eurovision entries of all time! A lot of emotion conveyed beautifully by Frida Boccara, the artist!
That Slavic wailing sound is so good, more countries should send song with it. Please react to Bulgaria 2013 or 2007 they are by the same artists and feature this type of vocal.
YESSSS!!! HARDKISS is amazing! They have more than 5 years as a group and they have songs in english and in ukrainian (?) They take (hard) rock vibes and mix with dark pop and ballad too (like this case, "Helpless"). And they have another amazing songs. Look for them in YT, you will not waste your time ;).
The Hardkiss is the band, but yes, the lead singer is totally amazing, I love her. It is so nice and pleasant that there is so much attention to Ukranian talents from people from other countries. To my shame, I never watch national finals of other countries...
