You can get a completely free Respec from the Armory system just by loading an empty Armory slot to your character is a completely free Respec

Yesss all my alts have been crafters for months. I leveled all crafts to 50 and have everything but nirn researched. Then I wanted to make them all combat ready but I was dreading the skill point farm to spec into actual skills for 12 characters. The armory station has saved me so many hours of grinding.

If you load an empty (unused) Armory slot, you can load that and save the cost of respecting.

Genius! This also works for those annoying Scrying and Excavation lines, just setup an "Antiquities" build for when you need to do them. Keep the valuable treasure chest perk of course, but you'll instantly get like 15-20 skill points back for your main "combat" builds.

Thanks for the video. I haven't used the armory thing yet. I did however create 7 more additional characters and got them all certified to do the 7 daily crafting writs each. I did that in about 2 days. Lots of repetition but well worth it for the gold. I previously worked extremely hard over a couple months to up my 1100 main character to grand Master crafter. Thanks for the gold making advice.

How about respec to reset all your attribute, points and (CP using normal CP menu) and then save that state in one of your slots. This way you can always revert for free (from the initial respec cost)and start any build you want. Has this been tried?

On the surveys. Hold them until it’s double Nodes and then farm those surveys and you can get a TON more resources. Just have to wait for a double Nodes event!

One thing I noticed is Research is the same, appears that is the only thing you Can’t change. Something to keep in mind for some. 😁👍

Is there a way to restart the armory if one were to mess up a build ?

I'm still confused as to where the actual gold making comes in ? Are you talking about just from doing the writs? You would still need to hit 50 on all of your alts to get the max gold from the writs. I have 9 alts all maxed out in crafting(no research) and with the CP allocation I get 5075 gold a pop for writs on each toon not counting any ornate items you get to sell so it's over 50k gold a day for writs but, that is not where the real money lies . . .

Armory doesn't change your mundus, remember that before you switch to a pvp build.

A few questions that weren't addressed. 1. What happens to your research items when you change from your "Crafter" build to your "Fighter" build? Assuming you have added points to the Metallurgy skill line and can research 3 items? 2. Do you still get the benefits of the Hireling after you switch back to "Fighter" build, assuming you don't put any points into crafting in your "Fighter" build? 3. Does "Keen Eye" work on the "Fighter" build?
