As a fan of both the UFC and the WWE, it's sickening how ignorant and uninformed the media can be towards wrestling, just because it's pre-determined doesn't make it any less dangerous or athletically impressive
@@lucarossi9453 Sure if you're an uninformed douche who likes to give opinions on something they know little to nothing about then yes...it is scripted gymnastics in that case...fucking idiot.
@@nicholasnapoleon7274 agreed wwe is scripted but you take the pain so it’s not like wwe it’s full on fake it’s just mapped out how the match will go idk y people just hate wwe when they don’t even know what’s actually going on
@@The_Shape40 Thank you....someone has restored my faith. People just blindly hate on it and throw around the word fake without knowing a damn thing about it...take for example the limp dicked fuck in this reply chain. The matches and story lines are pre-determined yes but Undertaker said it best..."On any given day you're two inches away from saying holy shit that was impressive, to holy shit that guy a'int getting up." I usually am a good sport and acknowledge that it is kinda silly but don't just blindly hate on something when you don't have the credentials/knowledge to back it up.
How would any of you feel about having all your years of busting your ass and taking care of yourself using legal supplements and being treated like a criminal? Give credit where it's due and get off his case!
It's not real. It's just you can get hurt while doing it. Actors get injured making action movies quite often. That doesn't make the movie real. They don't really hit each other and they follow a script.
Joe Turner ehh not exactly. Sure a majority of the punches and kicks are faked, but also a lot of time when it comes to stuff like chops to the chest and stuff like that is very real, they just learn to hit you in the meat of the chest. Not to mention all the slams and stuff they do in the ring. Sure you can learn how to fall safely to try and reduce pain as much as possible, but fact of the matter is when your taking a suplex off the turnbuckle, that ring canvas doesn’t give an inch and will fuck you up, especially since wrestlers have to do shit similar to it few times a week
@@paulmoore5392 Yeah for sure. I'm fully aware there is a lot of pain in wrestling and they take a lot of bumps and it takes a huge toll on your body. But you most certainly can't call it competition or call it real.
Nate Diaz: "Everyone is on the juice!" Stop giving Brock and Jones shit when everyone in UFC takes steroids. Not as much as body building but everyone does and most everyone knows. They use masking agents. Some just get caught. Some don't.
Brock gets a lot of crap for not caring about wrestling or not respecting it. But its that people take his character too seriously. He's defended wrestling a lot but never gets noticed. He may not have the love or passion as others do but he still enjoys it & respects it & he has a lot of friends in wrestling, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, The Rock. Its hard to do something you supposedly hate even if you're paid a lot. Coming from a life long wrestling fan yea its fake & people tend to overreact to that too because its still hard to do & you can be dangerous (Droz, Owen Hart, Pedro Aguayo Jr) but what people mean is the storylines, scripts, choreographed. I have friends who say its fake but still now not everyone can do it. What I do hate & have no respect for are these judgemental & "know it all" pro athletes & actors who bash it & the fans.
Victor Joseph Mercado my name. Robert Williams I will beat you in WrestleMania The champ is here wop laser he could get his butt kicked by me Robert Williams I got scared of watt laser I'm a kid
Don't him and the Undertaker hate each other? They got into that little spat at a UFC event and it didn't seem to be staged, considering it was immediately after Brock had just been TKOd.
Victor Joseph Mercado They bash it but they all secretly watch it or like it. They'll say it's fake but of course they'll still watch a show like Game of Thrones or Walking Dead.
The reaction to him taunting Frank Mir after the second fight stunned me. You had Mir and his camp mocking him with video clips and interviews but the post fight words/actions were unprofessional?
Josh Gross (the guy interviewed) sounded like an old woman clutching his pearls. In the fight game: everything outside of family and sickness is fair game: Mir taunted him for months about the loss. Nobody gave Mir shit for taunting Brock.
Masvidal said the same thing about his in-ring conduct (mocking him as he's unconscious). How is all the shit Askren said before okay but suddenly what Masvidal does in the octagon is over the line?
As for his steroid use - just imagine you are innocent, would u walk out of an interview the second someone opens up the question or would u want to clear up all the confusion? Also, I love it when they are asked - they go around the question by answering they never failed a drug test. Not failing a drug test and not taking steroids are two different things. And Dana that old bastard cares about money, not whether Brock is juiced up or not.
@Fred Skuttle he isn't talentless he was amazing at wwe before he went to ufc. He was one of the most talented wrestlers at that time. Now he is lazy yes I agree with that but he's definitely talented.
But that was true when he said isn't it? Most of the ufc fighters have been busted at some point for taking the aids. But there are plenty of masking agents which let them escape drug test.
Love him or hate him this impressive athlete has accomplished so many things in one lifetime: NCAA, WWE, NJPW, NFL, UFC and WWE again, this man has the heart of a warrior. That's why I love Brock Lesnar.
Just imagine being in high school and deciding you wanna try wrestling cause you have nothing else to do with your time. Being excited for your first match then seeing this madness across the ring. 👆
The injuries from wrestling is very real. I really wish the 300 day a year road life was over. 250 at most. WCW had it best with 180 days a year on the road and no more than that.
From a warrior to a warrior id get into the ring with Brock just for the hell of it I'm a martial artists and I just love fighting I can't get enough of it and I don't care how big or bad they are I'll get into the ring with anyone at any time just bring it and we'll see who wins I have no fear all I want to do is fight that's all I think about every day all day I enjoy fighting and I want power to make people fear me that's my motivation to win that's my motivation to fight plus to me fighting is fun the feeling of breaking someone's jaw is just satisfying
I've never had a desire to use steroids but most people who are against them are hypocrites. They have no problem with Tiger Woods getting eye surgery so he can see better, Andrei Agassi getting cortisone shots in the middle of a tennis match, or people having all sorts of surgeries and procedures to recover when their bodies fail them. Though it is quite humerous to listen to the average anti-steroid person talk about them because they are completely clueless about what steroids actually do.
Awhile back I looked up pictures of his Parents online. From the Pictures I've seen online of his family it seemed they were all decent sized folks. They didn't have the bodybuilder/weight lifter physique, but they didn't seem to be little people to me.
He did not make the crucial mistake during the first fight with Mir... The referee did by asking both fighters to stop then letting them fight on their feet...
Gotta respect Brock lesnar hes a beast hes a Genetic freak and a bad ass i love his work keep it up lesnar i respect why your fighting #donteatshit #fightclawgougetothetop
Sander Then why didn't he release a statement saying that? Weren't his people supposed to 'get to the bottom' of why he failed those *2* drug tests? What's taken so long? His really busy WWE schedule?
He has failed a drug test, it was not for steroids but for an estrogen blocker used in conjunction with steroid usage. The estrogen blocker he tested positive for is also banned. He may have been clean in college and even in his early wwe days and his early career in the UFC. He wasnt clean when he fought Mark Hunt.
It’s cringey how they were saying it was embarrassing to the sport lmao. They had no clue what sport they were reporting on. Khabib made them wake up to the truth of fighting.
Matt Bradley after ufc 200 lesnar tested positive for estrogen blocker which is part of a steroid cycle. Just Google it and the link will come up, I'm too busy street to look for it
I never failed a drug test is not a no. The interview was before his failed drug test before he fought Mark Hunt. Its funny to me that Scott Steiner had the same answer when asked if he used steroids. Of course they wont admit that they did.
Idc what y’all think ufc has to sell ppvs the sport has to grow. I’m sure the fighters don’t mind mind because the more popular the sport the more that watch it and the more money these fighters make for busting their asses off.
“I just didn’t want to be in the locker room 20 years from now, looking like these guys, and doing the same thing.” 20 years later lol Lo and behold. But he’s right, anyone who WANTS to wrestle, full time lol Is either crazy or a frickin fool. I don’t see a positive to it, except to be able to say to stupid fans, yea I’m here every night lol For your frickin mental, emotional, physical and even spiritual health though, you got to do what Brock does.
Some Team in the Nhl should have taken a risk on Brock Lesnar back in the day, When the fighting was the police in hockey all had to do is to learn how to skate just enough. Look at Donald Brashear Couldn't skate for nothing but he was there for fighting that's how he could have channeled his rage now hypothetically speaking of course.
" i have never failed the fucking drug test" 7:37 thats wrong. in 2016 at mma - 2 times positive doping and 1 year ban of fighting + 250.000 dollar punishment
i think anyone that is a UFC fighter has gotta be somewhat psychopathic i mean to pound someone's face in for a living empathy has gotta go out the window for that
