@@MarkusMunniMaster There's no channeling going on here. You're used to portafilters that bow in the center and coalesce. The uniflter does not bend at all so does not coalesce.
@@marcus.s. That's somewhat true! Very light-roasted coffee even soon after roasting can have very light crema. However, freshness isn't indicative of quality either. Many modern roasters recommend resting your coffee for 2-4 weeks after roasting in a safe environment so that more CO2 is released which allows for a clearer flavor. The coffee this guy might be using could be a pretty light roast and well-rested, and it may still taste beautiful! One of the most memorable and sweet shots I've ever had was a 14g light roasted natural Ethiopia with very little crema but I still remember it almost 2 years later. Hope this was informative.
That's why I don't make music nowadays 😂 I know it doesn't have anything to do with coffee, but I mean, all the preparation and set ups to make it about 100% is exhausting and time-consuming. It depends, though. I identify myself as someone who likes to give his very best (not a perfectionist). And I know that for some tasks or even hobbys, extra effort is required if you want it to be great, at point or maybe something beyong that. 🎉 greetings
@@bazd313 as far as i know a good espresso will drop in a single flow as soon as the extraction started. So for about 1-2 second after extraction, the good espresso will drop in a single flow, different from the video that show the espresso was dropping, not flowing
@@rhezafirmansyahgautama1887 typically you'd be correct. But this isn't a standard portafilter. The basket and portafilter are one solid piece here, the holes in this are more spaced and go all the way to the edge, and it's completely flat walled. Espresso falls like rain out of these new types instead of consolidating into the typical "rats tale" espresso extraction.
@Luke Lazdins I thought the same thing, bro! As an italian, I can confirm that...there were no cream on the top and the consistency was too much liquid
I truly admire the passion and dedication to pulling perfect shots of espresso….. But I have to ask, do you also whisper lullabies to it before placing it in the machine ?
I am the calmest most forgiving person i know. It takes A LOT to make me angry and even then i let go of things pretty easily. Many people in varied scenarios have told me this over the years, some in appreciation and some in annoyed amusement. But THIS. This content is pure rage bait for me. This is my undoing😂
The worst part is that Flair 58 costs €1000 where I live, I literally got a Breville Barista Express for less than that and I don't need to do a fucking workout to get better coffee 😂
I enjoy these vids very much, forget about “ washing parts , bluh bluh”, this is a non rushing- being present in the moment- enjoying every drop of it ART! More videos please!
I can’t conceive of a good reason to put this out without producing a better shot. I’ve used a Flair many times and I’m certain it’s capable. Waiting for the redo here with a grind adjustment.
other espresso machine it's the same thing measure the amount of beans you need spray a bit of water on em grind do puck prep so the stirring thing with the metal needle thing to get out clumps then tamp it and put it up there start it up and yeah
I bought this thing, makes great espresso, but I returned it for that very reason... and got myself a a good espresso machine for the same $$... now I'm making crappy espressos u til I learn how to use it.
A lot of people are making it sound like this is a waste of time but for some people, coffee is a hobby. They like spending time on the long processes, it's relaxing for them.
Yep! It's the unifilter. So unlike a standard portafilter basket, it does not bow in the center so there is no coalescing. So the shots look different on the way out, but it ostensibly reduces channeling during puck degradation.
Sir, one more such an addictive video and your channel is going to become illegal in countries. It’s a truly different feeling to watch these, thanks for super relaxing content😊
Exelentes tus videos yo soy fanático del café lo tomo a todas horas todo el tiempo que máquinas tan bonitas y sofisticadas todo en es tan elegante para mí la mejor bebida del mundo Dios te bendiga y proteja siempre 🇲🇽
You need the water to be as hot as possible and the brewing chamber pre-heated as well. Immediately off the boil especially if using a light roast.Or maybe you enjoy the sourness..
crema naturally disappears as time goes, but also he is using a light roast which tend to not produce as much crema like a dark traditional espresso roast
Imagine if your obsession was coffee and audio, having a 20k espresso machine to make your coffee while listening to a vacuum tube amplifier with flat rate response speakers
