I like those types of videos once in a while because it brings back old Etho! Would you consider doing a Q&A while clearing more land? I know they are not your type of videos because you like to be private, but I like the idea of a talky episode everyone once in a long while.

I love this style of video. Watching repetitive building isn't great, but problem solving is great. We learn not just what works, but what doesn't work and why. Seeing things that don't work also help to give people ideas too.

These episodes are the best things about your Etho Plays Minecraft series. I don't care about decorating, and while watching you goof around is entertaining, it's not that special. It's this, figuring out new mechanisms, all that thought process etc, like in the good ol' days of first mob systems. This is special, and awesome.

I got to say that this is one of my favorite episode in a while. I love to see wsmal bits of redstone and trying to figure it out. Love the video

Dear lord I need to start reading the titles of the videos! For some reason I never do I just see a video from Etho and click on it. So when you were like," but you probably got that from the title of this video" i was like what? what title? oh dear. also Etho I always like watching the behind the scenes so maybe a mix because its good when you accomplish a lot but sometimes it can be too many things going on so having an episode like this could balance it out! but i would watch every video anyway! one last thing, i thought it was so funny how you put redstone on the packed ice, then wooden planks. I was thinking," he's gonna get so many comments saying 'WHY DIDN'T YOU USE STONE BRICK ETHO??'" :P

I like this behind the scenes style. It's cool to see the process to your creations.

i like your old classic style. problem-solving can be very entertaining when you present it in an organized way like you did. i also think that it is a differentiation point to other technical related minecraft channels. like if i want the most efficient witch farms there's 20 tutorials out there. most ppl dont even play minecraft anymore so tutorials are less and less interesting

I really like this style for episodes, it really shows how much effort you put into these video's. I see why some people might not like it, because like you said : you don't get a lot done :P. But I like it this way :)

Ok Etho i need you to do me a favor and make ur voice more high pitched or something because ill sitting in my bed eating a whole dinner because why not and than ur voice makes me fall asleep every time ;-;

I will start with a side note, that I am quite new to the game - I started about a year ago, with 1.8, and I thought the best way to learn the history of the game, and how it developed, is by watching your lets play series. I currently have only about 25 episodes left (from 370 to 390), and I think they were all amazing. Regarding villagers: In my world I built a library, where apart from books I also store librarians in (zombie proof) stalls, one villager per enchantment. Currently I got all the enchantments on the top level (even the bane of arthropods). This way I always know where to put get the books because I have them all in one place. It also makes sense, due to the fact, that a good library also needs a lot of staff. As a result - I have a (potentially) infinite source of any book I would ever need. Regarding witches - in a regular witch farm, the rate they spawn would probably make those dispensers shoot arrows almost constantly. If you are stading at Y 160, the farm is the only space mobs can spawn, and boy - they spawn. From my tests, farms typically get the yield of 4000-7000 items per hour (depending on the design) which means that you get more than one witch a second. Building detection systems in shifting floor designs have sense, because it is the only way you can effectively drop them down. With water flush designs - you only want to flush them when they are there, otherwise flowing water reduces unnecessarily the number of spawning spaces. In your design, with arrows, you have none of those concerns, and judging by the rates they spawn, easier would be to just hook up the dispensers to a slowly running clock to flush them down with arrows without the tripwires. You might for instance hook it up to a pressure plate at Y 160, so the farm is running only when you are at your AFK position. I don't want it to be an advertisement of any sort, so I am not posting any links, but I posted a few videos on my channel, and one with the first about villager powered enchanting, which you might find interesting. You might want also check the wall sorting system I made, because you mentioned a while ago, you might need a system to sort stuff out at some point, that is smaller and more handly to use than the Nexus, so you might find it interesting. Keep up the good work.

Seeing Etho have trouble with redstone every once in awhile makes me feel like I'm not a total failure when it comes to redstone, so yeah, I like it when you include redstone hijinks.

I really liked this type of episode. I found myself trying to solve the problems with you. And that made me feel more involved and more focused on what was happening. I'd imagine that most of the people watching u enjoy the more technical side of mc, so we really do enjoy solving the problems along side you. Either way, your vids always make my day, keep it up! :)

I like watching the behind the scenes videos a lot. I like seeing what you build, sure, but there are countless channels devoted to builds, and I could watch any of them. I watch this channel because I like watching Etho play. I don't care how much actually gets done, I just enjoy the playstyle and personality, and with behind the scenes videos sometimes I even learn something I didn't know before.
