If you grow a sea pickle on coral and have other coral around, it will spread to the other coral

I was hoping you were gonna charge your creeper that's in the boat near the storage room so you would have a pet charged creeper again. Who remembers the first one?

If you want to prevent placing multiple sea pickles, just aim at the edge of the top of the block, as the sea pickle isn't the full width and length of a full block.

Love your vid, been watching for years normally dont comment but this bothered me so much! the trap doors go up and down on each pulse So for every observer with a trap door, the next one doubles the amounts of activation ur 1 pulse on place pickle, turns into 2, that 2 activates ur dispenser twice, using 2 bonemeal, then ur next observer into a trapdoor into a observer, turns that into 4 pules, Yes they dont all get used, but is messing up your timing If you were to use fence gates, they only toggle open or shut, on each pulse like a switch whereas a trap door opens and closes on each pulse like a button

Oak Trees work differently from Spruce and Birch Trees. Oak requires a column of air, logs or leaves above it to grow. A column one block wide. A birch tree or a sprice tree require a column of 3x3 centered around the block above the sapling. If they dont have a column of air, logs or leaves like that above it they will not grow. This is why spruce and birch don't grow on your undereater tree farm.

How is the slab base going? Or the amplified base or the one block tall base or that redstone test room behind diamond doors that you never use. But really once the 1.13 hype settles down please dont abandon the slab base or the crawling base, both are cool concepts.

you should make a creeper farm so you easily can make charged creepers and maybe use those charged creepers to make a wither skeleton farm where you get 100% head drop rate. That would be a cool project :D keep up the great work

I’m not sure about the code in 1.13, but in 1.12 all tree types have a bunch of checks to make sure they have air around them except for oak. Oak is a default “I don’t know what to do here” so it just works

Etho I used to watch you everyday after school whenever you’d upload. That was like 4 years ago. I decided to check back in recently as I’m a freshman in college and just wasn’t feeling myself and honestly slightly depressed. The nostalgia of these videos has brought me back to happiness. I’d never play mc again but watching you for some reason makes my dad every time.

You should just have one pickle as a seed and other corals around. You bonemeal the seed pickle and gather the offspring on the other coral(s). I don't know if the number will be reliable (although probably), but you should increase your efficiency by growing pickles every single time.

I love that etho has grown to embrace and love his very best meme. the guude house prank was the best, and it was, all things considered, not the worst build out there.

Sea pickles can spread to blocks next to them if there's other coral, I believe. So the way to make a more efficient farm would be to have a dispenser pointing at a block that always has 4 sea pickles on it and just collect the extra that appear on the blocks around it. that way it would never waste bone meal on sea grass.

When establishing bubble coloums, you only need to put a bucket of water at the top of your elevator as the soul sand updates the falling water to a bubble coloum.

Etho I've just watched your entire LP series from the beginning. It's taken two years during which my wife has left me, my kids and friends no longer recognise me, I've lost my job and I'm now begging on the streets just to pay the 4G bills. Thank you for the happiness you've brought to my life. Long may the series continue. A few episodes ago you said you were struggling to find the motivation to create episodes. One thing you've never done in this series is publish longer clips of the mundane stuff, and I'd *love* to see some. Go caving with a purpose, use the Nexus, grind the netherwort farm, gather redstone, insta-mine clay blocks and pop the stacks in the transporter, etc etc. You don't need to narrate these clips - just start recording and give us 30 minutes of the interesting bits with your reactions. Minecraft has so many little satisfying things that you skip over in your videos to bring us the clever stuff, but it's good to see the little things from time to time. Anyway, good luck with the inspiration/motivation!

As others have said, if there are coral blocks surrounding the block the pickle is on, and you bone meal a full 4-pickle group, it'll spread like mushrooms and grow more pickles on the surrounding coral blocks.

I haven’t played Minecraft in years, but I used to watch you and decided to see if you were still uploading, and you are.

I must admit, I was a bit tired when I started watching this, and the way the episode started I almost clicked away because I thought It was just gonna be a building episode (although those are sometimes nice too!). Luckily I didn't click away though because the tree stuff was very cool and interesting.

Oak trees will grow wherever it can without checking for anything, while other trees have to have a perfect space open to them to grow. For example, an oak tree will grow even if other oak trees are right next to it, as long as it has light or is bonemealed.

You should totally flood the cave behind the waterfall. It would be cool to have a secret library tunnel that has an underground sea-cave, with flora and fauna.

Hey there Etho, I think a very simple trick to overcome the effect of placing multiple pickles would be to put you cursor at the very edge of the coral, so that you can place one pickle but don’t place several, because the pickles “hitbox” is smaller than the blocks’.

That anchor isn't entirely outside of the range of anchor sizes. I don't really know much about it, but just google image searching for large anchors gave me anchors roughly that size.

All the trees, but oak, check for some space around them. As the water is counted as a block by the tree-growing algorithm, only oaks work.

Hey Etho! You can use shields to block creeper explosions. Should help if you want more heads of things.

you can now send signals through 2 or more leaves by moving a log and detect it with an observer.

It would be cool if you had a giant sunken ship in the distance. It would add to the atmosphere for sure

I think you should build objects underwater and build big chains that hold them down. That would look really cool I think

Etho for the tunnel behind the water fall you should redesign it to work with the elytra and fireworks rocks to go the entire length of journey. It could be a cool update build
