I had the Sanitaire Version of this vacuum and agree the power is definitely there. I eventually got rid of it as it was just too loud to use as a daily driver Vacuum.
I have a yellow one that I bought new in July 2019 for about $60 I just use it for cleaning up vacuum cleaners and for the car. I’m happy with it, not perfect but I don’t use it often or heavily 🙂
Theyre fine, like I said in the video my only real issue with them is the hard bend in the hose elbow, other than that these are awesome for the money.
Hank's Garage I agree, my grandma had one from the 80s that had all metal wands and a metal curved handle. She recently passed away and I told my aunt that I would like to have it 🤔 we will see
Very thorough review of the vacuuming function. Thanks for making this video. Did you ever use the blower function? If so, how strong is it? Is it powerful enough to blow/spread some small puddles of water on a smooth surface like a tennis court?
Since I had a Bissell Zing for a year and a half and the motor started to sound like it was dying out. I'm hopefully get a Replacement vacuum for Free, but I Should've bought the Mighty Mite in the First place!
@@hanksgarage_ I have a yellow one I bought 6-7 years ago. For the price point, it works well enough, but looking at the one in your video, it LOOKS like the plastic is cheaper than my model. The wheels look cheaper. Mine still works, but I was getting ready to relegate it to the garage for cleaning up dust, dog hair, leafs, and other debris on the porch, etc. I thought I would purchase a new one for inside the house. I considered purchasing a four gallon Craftsman wet/dry vac for outside, but frankly, I was not completely sold on it, and the bags for it are very costly. I have not seen any others that I like all that much either. I like the two stage motor, the attachments, and the two front wheels on the Vacmaster, but it looks so big and bulky, and the reviews on it are not as good as I would like to see. Besides, the Craftsman's hose is no larger in diametre than that on the Eureka , and since I cannot imagine I would need the wet vac feature more than once a decade,, I figured why bother with the Craftsman? Why not simply purchase another Eureka Might Mite? At least with the Mighty Mite I have some idea what I would be getting, and the bags's cost is much more reasonable. I am sorry to waste my time looking at vacuums again, but I am too old to keep using a broom and a dustpan outside. I want something that will be easier and allow me to finish more quickly. If the old Eureka will suffice outside, then I will probably buy another Eureka Mighty Mite for inside. Personally, I cannot see spending hundreds ( much less $1K or more!) for a vacuum cleaner. Anyone who spends that much money for a vacuum cleaner simply has more money than s/he knows what to do with in my opinion.
