A really powerful thing for Briarstone would be to move his capital to Kaffa after his war, to make even more money out of the gold mine there.

coptic is good but the orthodox icons are REALLLY good and if you have 100% authority you will get amazing bonuses on your orthodox provinces and the national effects are -3 unrest 2%+ missionary strengh and 33%+ manpower, in general its just really good compared to catholic because in catholic you NEED to be a large nation with alot of cardinals to get medicore bonuses coptic is just really core creation cost modifier and its only -10%

Ausintune yeah but with coptic you get 5 permenant bonuses after you get the land and ortjodox you need to pay more for all your states to keep all your athority up

Just started a game as Ethiopia. Pretty fun with lots of options. You start out with so many tiny countries to gobble up and once you get down toward Kilwa it's a cake walk. Don't really have to worry about the Mamelukes either because they'll be busy with the Ottomans and by the time the Ottomans get over there I've grown substantially. I wonder though if maybe I should have attacked toward Alexandria while the Mamelukes were at war with the Ottomans to divide them up and get the other belief thing for the Coptic faith. Might give it another run.

Yeah, playing as Ethiopia is fun, and the Ottomans are a great "final boss" to fight towards the end to get the Ethiopian Achievement!

Mandu i had not even got down half of the horn and mamluks declared on me i won with24 to their roughly 35 or so when defending in the mountains took alexandria :)

You could have sold your heavy ships and reduced army maintenance to adjust your budget balance more optimally. There's no reason to have your army at full maintenance unless you expect a war soon.

he could do so much more. 1. Stop converting when there is no progress. 2. Kill the heavy ships - he did that later 3. destroy his other fort or at least shut it down 4. reduce army maintenance 5. don't increase autonomy.

All features showed until now are completely unrelated (military stuff) or muslim based,the only thing you could say purely arab is the map changes,but those are in the patch and it is in 100% in muslim soil.

don't raise autonomy right after you conquer it. core it first, then state it and then you can raise autonomy. You will end up with like 60% autonomy instead of 100%

Quill should have waited for the cores to finish to then increase autonomy, he made those lands useless for 20+ years. Also, he could have easily taken care of the rebels with briarstone's 3 star general and army. I'm not trying to be an asshole, just pointing it out.
