"Look at the United Kindom we haven't been in there for years! Take a photograph!" Hahahaa I'm dying!! He should be the official commentator for the Contest, but only for those who will not feel offended by his comments.
I bet Graham Norton will be one of the hosts if the show comes to the UK again. However, I don't believe that it will happen for a long time judging by the votes for the UK recently.
Yet that year the few Azeris that voted for Armenia were investigated and interrogated by the police, also when the Armenian entry came up on stage the Azeri TV banned it and showed flowers or something like that instead.
This commentator is the best hahahaha! About Montenegro: "that's their traditional dress... or just a horrible dress." About Greece: "that's one of the oldest things in Athens: that's Alexis!" About Bosnia i Herzegovina: "that creature is called Laka." About Sweden's spokesperson singing out the votes: "I'll forgive you if you sing It's My Time." About Poland's spokesperson who was singing: "let's not."
+Nikita772001 He´s handsome but not an unseen beauty, there are lots of more handsome guys, not only in music but also walking in the street, but yeah he´s cute and has a nice body too.
Ragnar Agreed :) I've never said he's the most handsome person ever, plus "incredibly" was pretty concious exaggerating. But I found him (not in exaggerated way) incredibly cute and it's type of men I especially like.
+Ragnar Don't you think it all depends on us? I, for example, don't consider him handsome. I prefer people like Alexander, more cute than handsome in usual way. Sadly, there are very few people like that in TV, but I met them more often in everyday life.
Norway had a great song that year but what this also proves is that the UK can still score very highly if we get the right song/performer like we had in 2009.
Well we had Jostein Pedersen commenting some years ago who said about the Swedish contribution in 03 that it had the charm of Ivar, the bookshelf from IKEA. GN style all over that comment. 🤷🏼♀️Not nice, but devious. Something like GN would’ve said.
"Oh, 3 points for us! I take it all back. You're a marvelous man!" "What I can't believe is that we gave 7 to Germany. What were you thinking, people?!" lol gotta love Graham Norton XD
"Okay now we have the last call and we still don't know who's going to win...maybe this guy will know...hello NORWAAAAAYYYY!!! " HAHA Loved that bit if only the last country to announce points was the winning country every year!
Graham norton got so happy at the end for getting 5th place without realising we were actually on 4th place for almost the entire night, he missed to notice that
You can obviously tell that that Norwegian dude was smiling with tears of joy, because he saw his country win the contest all the way while waiting for his turn to announce points!
My top list from the Netherlands: 1-Turkey (Düm Tek Tek is my all time fav song) 2-Azerbaijan 3-Armenia 4-Estonia 5-Iceland 6-Norway ( All those above 6 could be the winner can not pick a definete one besides Düm Tek Tek 😅) 7-Spain 8-Albania 9-Moldova 10-Romania 11-Russia 12-Greece 13-Ukraine 14-Croatia Obviously this is by far the best Eurovision Year Ever love all the other songs as well
Huh the Armenian lady who announced the votes didn't give her name but she was actually Armenia's entry the year before in 2008 and she came 4th! I recognized her when she said "qele qele"
So I get that French is The Eurovision Language (tm) so it makes sense that some people give their votes in French but I think it'd be really funny if someone just decided to give all of their votes in like Lithuanian or Icelandic or something.
i still shed a tear when the UK get big points in this, even today. It made me proud to be British, keep your olympics and royal family - i love the eurovision!
fun fact: if you didn't see norway on the list giving points from 1-8, you're guaranteed to see norway in the top 3 And norway didn't get any points until they say who got 12 points, you're guaranteed for Norway to get 12 xD
It always makes me so emotional and happy and excited whenever I hear the 12 points to Norway like,,, I love Alex so so so much and it just makes me emotional and I've watched this so many times but😂😂😂I love this gives me chills
Still my favourite Eurovision ever! Record breaking score, the first time my favourite song was the winner and the UK came fifth and was in contention for second the whole night!
I'm Azerbaijani and I was really thankful to Armenia. Because this is a SONG competition so everyone should vote for the song he/she liked, no matter whose song it is. I live in Latvia and I honestly liked the Armenian songs in 2009 and 2011.
i really dint know I was missing something as great as Norton commentating!!! man, is he doing it in 2017? I will be listening to tat instead of Denmark.
