Me too! Every time I see one I yell at my monitor "YESSSSSSSS!!" It is so wonderful to see them chase their dreams and not let all the hate and negativity get to them. I agree with you to a certain extent. Sometimes there a good family members that get taken advantage of in certain situations. Not having a vehicle can destroy their lives also. I think it all depends on the circumstances if the vehicle should be impounded.

What happens when a car is “impounded” - A wrecker service on contract tow it to their yard - pay the city a fee for each car + daily storage. How do wrecker services get a contract with the city? An additional fee (usually a flat rate/weekly) in cash & under the table to the PD Chief. It’s a complete racket that’s as bad as the people who are running most the time. Source - I owned a wrecker service on contract for 8 years
