The parks in the Cedar Fair chain has axed dozens of coasters over the years, let's see how many I can name and if you can beat my score. Take the quiz: www.sporcle.com/games/jmu0921... Music in this video: Operatic 3
Love that these are back! Yo Chris, don't feel pressure to put these out too often. The occasional quiz drop is a pretty perfect dopamine hit, and we don't want you burning out! Say hi to the fam for us.
This series is one of my favorites besides ‘By The Numbers’. It reminds me that you are one of the Jedi Masters of roller coaster knowledge and I’m maybe a youngling.
I remember once working the Millennium Force midway as a Midway Ambassador and got asked where Jumbo Jet was. It was fun hearing a very confused manager say that hasn't been here since the 80s
Rough quiz for me only 34/62 but considering I wasn't an enthusiast when most of these rides closed I'm not surprised I didn't have the coaster names memorized.
I love these quiz videos. It gives a bit more incentive for being a coaster nerd and testing your knowledge. I know personally I’m much more familiar with Six Flags so I’d be surprised if I miss any.
I recently learned that Scamper was sent to Dollywood after leaving Cedar Point. Of course, this was way back in the day when the small local park that would become Dollywood was just a mock railroad called "Goldrush Junction" with some Smokies-themed amusement attractions scattered about.
With world's of fun doing their 50th anniversary next year. Have ya thought of doing a documentary for that park. I think it would be cool if ya did that.
I know I'm late, but quizzes are back! I got 27/62, or 44%. I always seem to get around 50% in these quizzes. I got most things I know, but I can't believe I missed Hypersonic!
I guess that answers the question of whether Disaster Transport and Avalanche Run counted as separate coasters. And at Kings Island, the Demon did have the Screamin’ way back in the 70s. And completely not coaster related, but it was really fun to get to take my kids to Dorney Park and ride THE Demon Drop from way back when at Cedar Point. Completely different experience from the new drop towers.
Video idea, building an ideal theme park using a limited number of coasters, or perhaps just going all out and dreaming up some 20 coaster city sized theme park with several 50 million dollar rides
I being honest with this one like I was with all the other ones. I got 15/62. I pressed give up after 10 mins, and I had no clue what most of the rides on the list were. One's I definately felt dumb about forgetting was wicked twister, hurler, and hypersonic xlc
I want to make a coaster called positive G's and they hype up how you have never experienced such positive g's. Then the ride starts it takes you into a room full of people dressed like gang members full of tattoos and they come up to the train and give the guests compliments then the rides over.
hi im just saying im prob going to go to cedar fair in 2023 or 2024 but valleyfair is my home park so do i get platinum pass or no i will be there for 4 day and im prob going to got to kings lsland to so do i get it airtime thrills oh and one more think thanks for the videos
Interesting they consider Mean Steak defunct but not Mantis. It makes sense but definitely a bit of a grey area. Cause I would consider Rougarou a separate credit from Mantis though clearly not as drastic as RMC conversion.
